Hi everyone I'm back with a plan.

I realise it's already the middle of the week, but I've got a few more meals up my sleeve for next week too.

    Hope everyone is doing ok!?

  • No formal plan last week as was away for a few days and then had a visitor. Back to normal this week.

Sat - creamy leeks and cannellini beans, roasted vine tomatoes, garlic bread
Sun - steak stroganoff, noodles, green beans
Mon - tuna, green bean and pesto pasta
    Tues - beans on toast
Wed - poached eggs on toast
Thurs - prawn, pea and red pepper egg fried rice
Fri - smoked basa and sweetcorn pilaf

I’m also going to make Thai spiced sweet potato soup for lunches as it has turned wet and cold 🥶
Slight tweak - got yummy cooked lunch at work today so didn’t need much tea. Tonight’s planned meal rolled over to tomorrow and I might have the egg and chips next week 🙃
  • Me again!

Swapped tonight as well as pickled up on offer pizza yesterday, which was far more appealing than the plan as it’s been a long week. So, from tonight:

Fri - pizza, salad, dough balls
Sat - smoked basa and sweetcorn pilaf
Sun - smoked salmon sandwich (out for lunch)
Mon - sausage and fennel seed pasta, broccoli
Tues - salmon with creamy leeks and beans, broccoli
Wed - chorizo, red pepper and pesto gnocchi
Thurs - egg and chips, peas
Fri - tuna steak with lentils, spinach and sun dried tomatoes

So much for me having ideas for this week, I forgot to post 😊

So far this week for tea I've had
Jamaican stew from the freezer with rice and some sort of leftover curry.
Tuesday, I had homemade vegetable soup and homemade bread.
Last night was, Tofu Pad Thai with broccoli and rice.
Tonight, I'll use up whatevers been hanging around in the fridge a while
Tomorrow Moroccan stew and couscous from the freezer
Saturday, I will try and bring the pizza forward  as my GD is here.
Sunday will possibly be burger or subject to change, depending on what's languishing around needing using up.

Next week (so I don't forget when I next post),
I need to do something with my butternut squash and possibly sweet potatoes.
Aswell as that, I fancy making a chicken pot pie.
I'll have mushrooms to use also, so might slot in a Bolognese too or a stroganoff

Didn't cook all meals last week so butternut squash needs to feature somewhere (good job they last ages) 1️⃣.
Also, now don't need to do tagliatelle as I've used up the mushrooms and pasta in other meals.

2️⃣ Sandwiches last night as my stomach was upset from something the night before.
3️⃣Tonight, Cheese and Asparagus pasta with h.m. garlic rolls
    4️⃣Curried Jackfruit and rice
5️⃣Jacket potato, cheese and coleslaw (dependant on if my cabbage is still okay).
    6️⃣Something with chips (granddaughter here)
7️⃣HM pizza possibly 🤔 (if granddaughter still here)
8️⃣Reserve meal of Wagamama Hoisin and cherry tofu with noodles or rice.
