Nothing from UKPC yet, and the car park is working quite happily without their interference. I hope they are not interested anymore.

They are not overrun by cars and shoppers can always park. I was at one of them the other day and what a breath of fresh air it was to use four of the shops to get some items in the sale, them to get some basic food shopping and get a coffee, without worrying about time deadlines.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

UKPC seem to have lost interest completely. No cameras, no foot patrols either thank goodness and car park is running smoothly.8

So today 7 x 15 foot grey poles are being installed around the car park. Apparently a man and a van is to visit and parking will be restricted to 90 mins. The installer assures me the poles are for signs only, not cameras. I don’t have an issue with this except that the 15 foot poles are now an unsightly view, do they have to be so tall? The installer says they only have the one size. 7 poles, 20 car parking spaces seems a bit of an overkill but can I do anything? No planning permission but would this actually stop the installation? All in a semi rural village with ample free road parking.1

so a man in a van will drive all the way out there - then stay for either 90 minutes, or else make a note of the registrations and then return at some point after 90 minutes on the off chance of capturing someone for a £30 invoice?
Doesn't sound like it will make them much money.2 -

Doesn't sound like it will make them much money.£30 Where have you been for the last 10 years?£100 reduced to £60 for quick payment plus £70 if debt scammers get involved is the UKPC business model.5 -
All I know at the moment is that you can park free for 90 mins, I will let you know what the sign says. Surely people are just going to park on the road if there is any chance of being longer than that to avoid any chance of a fine.0

I believe the PCN is capped at £50 now0
