    Have a great trip 🙂
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Gosh a while since I posted , DGS loved Legoland will definitely go again as long as tickets are discounted.
I have enjoyed two long weekend breaks, one in Essex very enjoyable despite the long journeys there and back. The weather was very kind to me. Another one in Cheshire always like being in the county , countryside walks, farm shops and good coffee.
I am awaiting results of an X-ray which have gone to the professor in London to look at , hopefully they are ok. My condition is very rare and I have had no symptoms but it eases my mind when I get the all ok email.
Am having flu and Covid jabs this weekend.
Work didn't offer Voluntary Early Retirement, but Voluntary Severance enhanced , of no interest to me .
Have bought quite a few Christmas presents already as there is a family birthday every month now until March, very expensive .
DGS and I have been to soft play, he is quite happy to go on things on his own now , so I don't need to do as much crawling about .
I have made a minestrone soup for a few lunches so am off to have some of that.

Snap I’m having my jabs on Saturday. Hope the X-rays are ok and put your mind at rest.
The weekends away sounded lovely 👍
I was quizzing my gks what they want for birthday and Christmas - it gets tricky as they’re getting older.
What a pity about the early retirement as it could have worked out great for you.
    Enjoy the minestrone.

Yes they do flu and Covid jabs at the chemist but wonder if I have to find some sort of proof I’m a carer as otherwise not eligible for free ones. If I go through NHS it’s on my records. I can get a free flu jab at Boots via work but trying to sync mine with Mr SA’s.

  • Both injections done, the Covid one was done by someone who was in my year at school.  The weather has been lovely which is really nice at this time of year. Have helped mum with all her planting , the DGD helped as well yesterday.
The eldest 2 have gone for a limousine ride for an hour as part of a child's party, what will they think of next .
I am ready for work tomorrow, just hoping I sleep better than last night.
Have been gifted some fruit today out of a neighbour's garden always welcome.
