  • Back home from house sitting at my sons, always great to get in your own bed. Yesterday was all about my parents, opticians again , this time dad. Then we went out for a lovely lunch at a golf club. Today has been housework and a brief visit to see the GKs.
Tomorrow I am off swimming with the GKs , evening is meeting 2 friends at the big shopping centre for a meal and catch up.
I haven't spent very much at all in the last week £5.30 to be precise since Sunday which is always good.

Enjoy your meal at big shopping centre.
You are so right there is nothing like your own bed but I bet the change of scenery was nice.
It sounds like you had a busy day looking after your parents yesterday. They’re lucky to have you 👍

  • The big shopping centre is far too busy for me I am hoping it quietens down as the afternoon wears on .
Swimming with the DGC was full on this morning, it’s great to
see how confident the older two are now.
I am taking my DGD to the big town tomorrow for her birthday treat . A stroll around an accessories shop with a female name . She will look at everything she likes value for money and change from whatever she buys .

  • The trip was lovely , a long time spent in the shop trying to get a 6yr old to stay in budget . She was very good though . Can’t believe she is 7 tomorrow. The usual work Monday and Tuesday . Should have had dentist appt Monday but such sad news about my dentist that I still can’t believe. Rescheduled for late November.
Today is hair appt in a few minutes, then off to take parents shopping for clothes . They are making lunch gammon , roast potatoes and veg . Hope the weather is ok where you are . Very quiet up the North of England .
