Hope you’re feeling better. There are some nasty bugs about atm. What a pity you had to come home early.

  • Hope you're feeling better now SG - such a shame that the lurgy struck when it did, as others have said though, there's a lot of nasties doing the rounds at the moment.

  • Not sure where the time has gone again.Just been up to the usual, working, taking care of DGC and parents. Have had a few Christmas events, light shows at RHS, meals out, nativities .
My FD regular saver has finished just about to do a new one. Fixed term savings has matured thinks that's getting invested in the same thing again.
My dentist trip didn't cost as much as first thought so that was excellent news.
Christmas is all done apart from the wrapping which will be next Saturday. I have a birthday next week , can't believe it 12 months ago that I was 60 it's gone in a flash.
My DGC went on a very special trip this week to see Santa that included an airplane flight . They so deserve it after the year they have had.
Tomorrow I am off to Berlin for a few days , looking forward to the sightseeing .

  • Back from Berlin , lovely city and great Christmas Markets. Found it very reasonable for food and especially transport 4 Euros from the airport to the hotel 70 Euros in a taxi.
The gas people are still here and there is mud everywhere, I hope they finish soon it's getting arduous now.
Money wise all going well, spent less money in Berlin than I had so that's good some Euros will be kept in stock. My pensions have been paid early so they are in the savings account until the right day , payday Monday but that's on the right day.
Need to go to car main dealer to sort out part for wing mirror , I had an argument with a wheelie bin and didn't realise a black cover piece had fell off .
Need to move now to do some housework .
