  • Off food shopping soon with my dad , don't need much as have been fed elsewhere most of the last week. All my Christmas decorations came down on Thursday, so this afternoon is a cleaning one.
I need to look at the finances soon and do a new budget for the year. A couple of fix term savings have matured and been reinvested . Have a regular saver that needs to go away and start a new one. Credit card bill needs paying off before the 6th Jan.
Coffee first then I need to move .

I’m itching to take my Christmas decorations down but trying to hold out until Monday. It does feel good to give everywhere a good clean when they’re gone.

    Have a good day 🙂

The daffodils are beautiful…..a sign of better weather on the way 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 😂😂😂😂😂I can live in hope.
Your Christmas sounded lovely and I’m pleased (the maybe) future in-laws were amenable 👍
I can’t take my decorations down until the 6th January……think it was drummed into me at school as we never went back before the 6 th.

  • Today started off well £25 PB win and a marriage proposal! . The marriage proposal off some random male commenting on an old FB post of mine . You can imagine the reply . Currently at a bouncing place with the eldest DGC . Yesterday went to the big mall to return a couple of items . Met my friend there and it was heaving . Luckily we got a seat and my mum had given me money for coffee and cake

I am currently trying to think of how to apportion my salary and pensions up for the coming year . I don’t get paid until the 18th so lots of time to think .

Well done on the PB win. I loathe those posts from random dodgy males on FB, it's always on an old post too. Scam written all over it. I wonder if anyone falls for it. He's after your winnings 😆

Had to laugh at the marriage proposal! Set 2024 off with a bang!  🤣🤣🤣. Honestly though, under which stones do these idiots crawl out from!  Sad thing is that I'm sure there are plenty of lonely people who are taken in by it all if TV and newspaper reports are anything to go by.....
