The last few days have been very busy , but I'm pleased to say I am now ready for the festive break. This year has not been a good one for DD and my DGS , they so deserve a great Christmas. The DGS have had to be very brave and they have shown strength and resilience beyond their years. The next few days are all about family , starting with bowling tomorrow, 4 generations together should be fun.Thank you to everyone who has commented on my diary this year , to the friends I have made , I wish you all a Merry Christmas.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Thank you for all the Christmas messages.Christmas was about seeing the family and enjoying each other. Nothing fancy just an all round good time. We met my future DIL's family for the first time, they seem very nice and were easy to talk to.Some of you may remember I found my mum had 2 half brothers and a sister after doing me doing a DNA test . We have had minimal contact with them since as I think they were genuinely shocked that their dad had had another wife and child and they didn't know. I have never pushed them and just put it to the past. Yesterday I received an email to say the sister has passed away at age 69, it was kind of them to let me know.I have done a little sale shopping with my DGD this week and a few hours child care . Today I met a friend at our local RHS as it was dry and we saw our first daffodils during our walk around. We had a voucher for the cafe , and may have had a cake ! .
