A limo ride for a child's party just sounds like ultimate one-upmanship to me!

The children loved the limo but definitely ott for a 10 yr old . DGD is having a bowling party for her 7 birthday. The flu and Covid jabs have left me feeling a bit under the weather .I have taken this afternoon as leave , but I have rallied enough to come to the big shopping centre to return some boots .,
Another stress has reared its head in RL and it’s a case of bite your tongue and see how it goes . It’s another change we could all do without .Had a naughty coffee just now hoping the caffeine perks me up .Christmas shopping is coming along well aside the birthdays .Thank goodness for the funds that have been saved .Today I had a device fitted to my tv that sends info about what I watch and then I get paid for this in vouchers of my choice. Will see how it goes .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -

Sorry to hear about the stress ☹️ Hope it doesn’t affect you too much. Can just imagine having one of those devices fitted to our TV as Mr SA doesn’t half watch some random stuff. Oh my days 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Seems to be one of those patches of time when there are a lot of curveballs about. Keep dodging them and reminding yourself that wasn't doesn't break you makes you stronger, is my current strategy. Well, that and a lot of deep breaths and counting (slowly!) to 10!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Not feeling the best at the moment , life seems very difficult at the minute .I am just getting over my virus , but having trouble sleeping.
Have had toothache for a week , been to dentist today and need root canal treatment and a crown .NHS price £305 which I need to find from my budget. I am going to EBay a few things this week and I have been given some gold to sell .Will see how I get on there. Whatever the dentist did today seems to have helped .I am going out with a friend tonight for a meal . She has just got the all clear that the breast cancer hasn’t spread so don’t want to cancel her.Life is not good sometimes, but then I turn on the news and realise how lucky I am .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3 -
Good luck with selling the gold and things on eBay.
Hope the teeth get sorted for you and you feel better soon 👍January spends - £587.581
