When our granddaughter is old enough to she will spend time away with both sets of grandparents. It gives the parents time to themselves and memories are made.

Survived the first two days, Eureka was very good , they didn't want to leave . Yesterday we went round where the BBC is and we had drinks sat in deck chairs , lunch was a treat , called at the park on the way home . Money was spent need to sort my funds out this weekend.
Housework this morning, then hairdresser at lunchtime . Intend to try and get some clothes out for packing.
    Off to clean the bathroom.

The day turned into a lovely sunny one. Packing done for tomorrow, just a few items for the morning. Looking forward to getting away for a few days and hope the DGS&DGD enjoy it as well.
