Just over 2 weeks since I was here last.

I enjoyed a trip to the Lakes a week last Sunday , gorgeous weather and I never want to leave so I left about 10pm eventually .
Work has been very busy , with people still ill with Covid and summer holidays being taken. I am truly loving 2 days , the best thing I did work wise.
Over the weekend DS had to have a stay in hospital via A&E , 36 hours he was a patient . He is off now for a week .
My first pay day on half salary and I only need to contribute £150 from savings to balance , so please with that.
I have a lot of child care in the 6 week holidays , hopefully I will survive it.
I am managing the heat very well, went into work yesterday in aircon , came home about 2 and today WFH.
My car 13 yrs old flew through  it's mot , also had a service . Money from the car pot paid for that.
Last pay month I spent £141 on fuel but had an under spend on groceries so I have transferred that to a holiday grocery pot. I budgeted £150 for fuel so have just let the £9 carry over.
I had better go and do a little bit more work.

Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

Great you can manage on lower pay. Good news about the car too.

    Hope your DS is ok

Oh no to DS, I hope he’s ok now. Everything else sounding good.

I’m loving the heat but haven’t had to go to work in it, might’ve been a different story if I had.

DS is much better now thank you.

Yesterday was spent with parents sorting out shopping, hospital appts etc.
Today I sent my pension paperwork back for December , so just await that all happening around Christmas time.
My vitamin D level was low again after blood test so got a 3 month supply of them.
Have done all my housework today.
Tomorrow the DGD finish school at 1.30 , that's when the 6 week chaos begins .
I need to sort out paying the Airbnb on my CC this weekend.
Taking the two eldest DGD away for a few days in a week or so.

Are you having your DGCs a lot over the holidays? A break away will be nice for you and the DGDs.
