Having lost the original SD254 amazon have now lost the second replacement one too, which was supposed to be comming RM Special Delivery 9AM next day.

On both, the previous being sent via HDNL, the lack of tracking tends to indicate the parcels never left Amazon.

Guess I'm going to have to go buy some bread.....

anyone think this might be reduced again? Missed it by a day I think, when it went up,then had since gone up again.
I know amazon seem to increase and decrease prices on a daily basis or very frequently anyway.
Will hang on anyway and see if it drops again.

I am hoping this will be reduced again, as at that price it is worth a try, but not worth £64.99 which is the current price on Amazon :(

As they still have 400+ in stock my guess is it will be reduced again.

I'm pleased to say mine finally arrived just after my previous post, and it's kneeding it's first loaf....

Hi all i have too jumped on the band wagon and have purchased one of these! Its my best purchase since those £40 Argos monitors years ago! ( anyone remember those?! )

Anyway, thought I would share some favourite recipies, well i have only had this bread maker 6 days now but boyy!! have i been made to use this atleast 10 times now! lol! my family just cant get enough!

So here are some tips, The Spicy fruit loaf is divine, made this 4 times now, first 2 times i added ingredients at raisin beep, however i soon realsied to truly get the warm gooey hot cross bun texture you need to chuck in all the ingredients in the beginning, choose the basic raisin programme but just chuck all the mixed fruit in on top of the flour in the start.

Also after making some lovely basic wholemeal loaves with seeds in, i attempted to make a white one with seeds and just stuck it on the rapid bake basic cycle, result- delicious bread, needless to say it didnt last long! by the way the seeds which i thought worked particularly well in the white are 3tbsps each of poppy, sesame and golden linseeds.

Also i discovered altho buying seeds seperately in Tesco's and Asda was the cheapest way Boots also sell them and its quite handy that there is a 3 seed mix and a 5 seed mix both at 75p i think for 50 or 75g, so those of us with too many Advantage points we finally have something to pick up! These can be found near the crisps facing instore

    please do share recipes

I got one of these but 1 day after the bargain finished and paid £50 for it.... of course i got on the phone to Amazon and complained about the price hike and they said they wouldn't do anything about it... so then I sent them an email asking for the £10 back or a full refund. Got the £10 back right away!!! Made some nice wholemeal bread today and must say its a great find. Hope it goes back down to £40 for those that missed it.

We made this first try. For anyone who doesn't own the panny, this is what the middle-sized white loaf looks like, with all the standard options. Shame there is no smell plug-in.

... but there is a terrible problem, it magically disappeared within minutes of cooking....

Is anyone else finding that their loaves turn out damp? I am using packet mixes & made 3 loaves. For every single one, each time I have cut a slice right after cooking, a lot of steam comes out & the loaf is damp :(

I have actually ordered the 255 from ebay at £79.99 as it has a fruit dispenser that adds fruit etc at the right time in the program. The thought of waking up to Raisin bread was too much of a temptation!
