  • I have baked the basic white loaf on the first day.
The brioche sweet bread on the second day.
The italian easy ciabatta on the third day.

Hoping to do the french bread but ran out of flour.

Does anyone have any favourite recipe or suggestions that they would like to share?

I have only done the basic white loaf last night and we ate it all. Didn't have time to try anything today but will try something else tomorrow. Was planning on the french bread but wonder what the brioche or ciabatta were like? Also has anyone tried croissants?

How do I contact you for further information about this please? I'm a newbie to this board and not familiar with how things work. I do live in the Preston area!

  • Our bread maker arrived friday night but our driver is pretty good and always comes to us in the evening on his way back home. I do love the fact that are others waiting for Christmas Day to have a go with their new machine. I have resisted opening it up even though there are posts about how good the bread tastes! Merry Christmas...
  • I certainly couldn't have waited. I wanted to perfect my bread making so I can wake up to the smell of a freshly cooked loaf on Christmas morning to enjoy with a nice cooked breakfast.

ciabatta is lovely, I use that recipe most of the time when making white loaves

  • The croissants are lovely, but making them by hand made me realise just how much butter they have in them and I haven't eaten them since...
  • Well I've just checked HDNL's website which shows that the parcel was left on the doorstep on Mon 17th - I'm really annoyed as I had the item delivered to my aunties address as I knew that she would be home. The website says it was delivered at 16.07 and I absolutley know my auntie was home and lights etc would be on. There would be NO reason to leave it on the doorstep of a busy terraced street. Idiots!

Anyone know how I go about complaining/reporting item not received?

    Thanks
