Used our for bread for the first time yesterday, waiting to have some for breakfast this morning
Have used the pizza dough setting and it is fantastic! So much better than the old bread maker we had, plus only takes half the amount of time to do!2012 Target...

Just baked the banana and walnut loaf. Half eaten before its cooled down. Yum. I must stop using the breadmaker now and do some housework to shift the pounds from all the scrummy bread and cakes!!! :rotfl:0

Just out of interest was this delivered by Home Delivery Network (HDNL)? My breadmaker was left by the dustbin!! They have delivered 3 other parcels in the last week, 2 were left with a neighbour who no-one speaks to and the third has still not turned up despite the website saying "delivered"!! I have logged a complaint with their customer services.
Mine was left outside the front door. Not sure how long for as we were away from Saturday until Tuesday, but at least it was still there when we got back. Just glad no dishonest people were around though.0 -
Mine was shown online as "left with neighbour", except as there was no card we had no idea WHICH neighbour. Used the amazon call back thing, but they said someone called "Will" had signed for it, but would report a complaint about home delivery network. After googling for my local HDNL depot number I kept trying till someone answered and they checked the records to give the number.
I HATE that courier! it's the 4th time this fortnight they've messed up in some way!:rotfl:0 -
Further to my delivery problems with Amazon the last e-mail received today says they are refunding my £39.99. I do not want a refund! I want a breadmaker! The incompetence of the delivery people is beyond belief. I have replied to Amazon asking for delivery not refund but don't hold out much hope as this was so popular.0

sandkate, does it show a tracking number on your "my account" bit on Amazon? If so, go to https://www.hdnl.co.uk/hdnl/ and enter that number, see what the local depot is listed as, then go to to search for that depot number on something like http://www.thomsonlocal.com/ , then just sit by the phone and press redial for about 15mins between engaged tones or constant unanswered ringing... that's what i did before some really uninterested blokie finally answered and tapped my number into a computer to give the number of the neighbour.
Hassle, but you may get lucky. Fingers crossed for you!!! We should all do a petition for big companies to stop using that courier, it's the same one that gives me problems every year!!
(edited linky cause i'm a muppet):rotfl:0 -

Ours was left in the dustbin!! as were several rather expensive gifts that were delivered last week. I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing, as at least we don't have to collect from the depot...
On a cheerier note, the bread is fantastic. Just tasted the first loaf, and am not disappointed with the £40 outlay.:T Thanks for the heads up OP.To err is human, to forgive divine!!!:A0 -
Hi Kazzaw, yes it was Home delivery network, i cant believe that they just left yours by a bin, if they had done that to mine, it would surely be gone by now.
Why do they use such a rubbish delivery service. Puts me off ordering from them again.
Glad you got yours ok though.0
