Welcome IzzyBee i have added you to the chart with a provision 9lb target let me know if you want me to revise it. I find the one advantage of the weather getting warmer is summer food tends to be less calories than winter fillers unless you are a ice cream eater?

@IzzyBee
I found that if I put my scales on thick pile carpet my weight reduced dramatically. Of course I gained it all back when I returned the scales to their proper place on the hard bathroom floor.
For myself I'm finding that a lack of appetite due to covid is helping a bit. Not a method I really recommend though. But other than a lack of appetite in reality it's the fact that I'm eating smaller portions as I really am not bothered about the food and have no desire to have a glass of wine as my head is already very buzzy. So if I can continue with the smaller portions and less imbibing once I feel better then I know I'll be heading in the right direction.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. 🙋♀️ Fellow ice cream fan here too I’m afraid.I’m being really strict for the first month and avoiding alcohol and treats, so maybe my celebration in a month can be an ice cream 😜 I’m just trying to “retrain” my taste buds by avoiding sweet stuff, as I’ve developed a shocking sweet tooth in recent years. I know from experience that when I don’t eat much sugar after a couple of weeks I don’t crave it and can then have the odd treat with no issues, but if I start to eat more I crave it more and it becomes a vicious cycle.Today’s meals:
B - smoked salmon, scrambled egg (from our chickens!), avocado and spinach
S - an apple
L - salad with leftover chicken & veg kebab from yesterday’s BBQ, green lentils and other bits
S - chocolate protein yoghurt (aka Greek yoghurt mixed with chocolate flavour protein powder, I added a spoon of cocoa powder too)
D - steak, mushrooms, spinach & cream, with some green veg
Rest day so no workout.
A good day for sticking to plan, but very expensive food wise which is the main problem with going low carb… it will be worth the expense if it works though.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018

@Brambling Thanks I will try more walking, nice to see so many fellow unactive thyroiders here. Food wise if i give today as an example bowl of leek potato soup, 5 cups of coffee, glass on wine and packet of crisps and snax packet of cheddars I know i am just hitting 600-1000 calories a day And have done for some time and yet no weight loss. I fear this is because of meds I am on. I will go for a walk once a week and see if that makes a difference before i set targets as dont want to set myself up for a fail. I dont want to put any further weight on which is my main priority On the plus side I dont have to worry too much about food prices going up as I dont eat much21k savings no debt4
