I'm clumsy Ditty so can sympathise with you 😬 I haven't been for a while but our local pool has a smaller pool where you can walk into it and is usually less manic than the main one.  TBH I'm not much of a exerciser other than walking and I will walk a lot of miles, although I have a dodgy hip at the moment.  Do any of your parks have out door equipment you can use rather than going to a gym?

My gym hasn’t got a pool (it’s a CrossFit style gym).

Our local pool is irritating me as since Covid it has quite restricted sessions for family swims (I mainly want to take my young kids, rather than swim myself!) and most of the times don’t work well for us. Eg no times on a Friday during the day, the one day a week when I’m off work with my 3yo 🙄 (they are open, but only for adult lane swimming). They are also freezing, much much colder than other council-run pools I can get to (as I live in a city, there are several in a short drive although they all have restricted family swim times). It doesn’t have steps either now you mention it.

    Hello

Such a shock for you Suffolksue, sending you my best wishes.

    Well done everyone

    Weighday - 3lbs please Brambling.

I didn’t get as much exercise / movement as intended this week, 1 hilly walk, 1 flat walk, 1 resistance workout and only a couple of times on the rebounder- now back upto a minute and half before gasping for breath lol.

I used to go to a gym every workday sometimes twice a weekday when I worked in the city and I was much younger. Definitely got my moneys worth as it was quite expensive even then. I’m currently building up exercise after 2 injuries and a period of being a bit unwell. I’m just doing YouTube etc at home with small weights and the rebounder and walking/hiking outdoors. When I’m fitter I’ll probably go to yoga class again as it’s good to have my form corrected and possibly a fun sort of dance/ exercise class at a community centre where you can pay per class and it’s not too expensive. In my hometown there is a smaller hotel that has a nice pool that is open to non resident locals, where I am now even the smaller hotel pools are too pricey to go to regularly.

I’ve no idea what week I’m onto! This week I’m going to move breakfast a little bit later and not have immediately after getting up and add more movement/ excercise.

    Today
Breakfast: scrambled eggs n salmon; 1x coffee with cream
    Main: tuna mayo salad
    Dessert: strawberries and clotted cream

2.5lbs off for me please @Brambling
My eating/diet pattern has been a bit erratic this week.  I really wasn't prepared and haven't got into a routine yet.  Need to get my head round things way better than this!
I'm going to change my weigh-in day to Monday in the hopes that I'll be able to plan better.  It shouldn't make a difference, but a Wednesday start to the week just feels weird.
So next week will be a 'short week'.  (I'm getting my excuses in in advance! >:))
