Isn’t the cashback only for card payments? Do the solicitor you are using accept card payment? Mine insists on a CHAPS payment.linz said:I'm due to complete on a house purchase in the next couple of months. Can anyone see a reason I wouldnt get the cashback if I paid the deposit and conveyancing fees out of my Chase current account? Money will be moved from the 1.5% into there or my salary account when needed.
Thanks in advance.

In light of that, well worth mentioning that Chase do not currently offer CHAPS payments, only Faster Payments with a daily limit of £25k.MDMD said:

Have to say I'm loving the current account. The cashback is slowly building up and 5% on the round up savings can't be criticisedAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......1

Fees are one thing they may accept a card payment for. Most of them though want a single BACS/CHAPS/FP payment to cover deposit and fees. Certainly the deposit will need to be paid via a transfer.veryintrigued said:

How did you do that. As far as I know people get cashback for debit card payment. Did your Solicitor accept debit card payment ??

I seem to remember someone saying they were able to set up a DD drawing from their Chase *savings* account. That's something I've not come across before, but useful if possible.
Has anyone else done it and had it work?

Al Rayan used to do that but they stopped it.
