No, you can't do online banking with Chase via a web browser - you'll need a compatible Android or iOS device to run their app.adindas said:Is it possible to access Chase Account using online banking. Or at least an apps that could connected to desktop like Al Rayan. Or WhatApps (not bank obviously).0 -
I don’t see the problem with no desk top access.
Daily I use Chase app on iPad.
When I go away in the UK I switch to poco f2 pro and mobile app.
Abroad it switches to my Nokia 8.1.
Plenty of options.

Just to update for anyone interested - I got the same result, ie compensation above the interest amount. So a satisfactory resolution.jewelly said:
This gives me some hope at least. They suggested I must have opened another current account, but I am almost (!) certain I followed all the correct steps and selected ‘savings’ account. The piggy bank icon automatically assigned to the account assured me that it was a savings account. I believe it was a glitch in the app. They have raised a complaint on my behalf and will investigate, so now I will wait for the outcome.1882 said:
This was my message and it has been resolved and I've updated the thread in question.RG2015 said:
A user on the thread link below also had this problem on 1st April, which appears not to have been resolved as yet.jewelly said:I never received any interest in my savings account on1st May. When I went into the account it states 0% interest but I thought it was supposed to be 1.5%. It’s the account with the piggy bank icon. Anybody know what has gone wrong? I’ve tried messaging them, but no reply so far. I’m very disappointed as I have moved a lot of savings into there from other accounts.

It took them quite a while to get back to me and it turns out (as one poster suggested) I'd inadvertently opened an additional current account rather than a savings account and therefore it wasn't due any interest.
I confused the matter by giving it the name savings account which made me think otherwise. On the basis that the customer service agent didn't (as would have seemed reasonable) immediately pick up on this and instead opened an investigation into it I was given compensation of an amount a bit higher than the interest I missed out on.0 -
HI all, Is there a time window by when you need to activate your card after receiving it or can it be done anytime?
Thanks

I haven't got the phone for this and obviously rates are creeping up elsewhere but the thing I would like about this savings account is the fact that you (or at least I personally) could have all my money in one place with one provider, given it also has the current account that you must have. That also has the benefit of the 1% cashback on the current account and the current highest interest rate on the savings account. It's really a win win and everything I'm looking for so I am considering changing my phone for it, which i know some people might find silly, but as I said, it's everything I would want and would totally have already been on it if it wasn't for my phone being incompatible. The life og having 10 different savings accounts or constantly changing from one to the other when there's a little increse somewhere is not for me, I like everything in one place or at least only in a couple of places. That's why at the moment I'm still with Virgin Money even though there are now way better savings rates elsewhere, especially for the amount after the first 25k.0

It is generally a rather bad idea to have all your money with the same bank. What if something goes wrong and you have no access to any money?andyhicks88 said:I haven't got the phone for this and obviously rates are creeping up elsewhere but the thing I would like about this savings account is the fact that you (or at least I personally) could have all my money in one place with one provider, given it also has the current account that you must have. Don't worry, I do have another current account elsewhere with some emergency funds in. Actually at the moment I have several because I'm going through some switches for bonuses right now but soon it will go back to my main current and savings accounts and then an additional emergency current account.1 -
Thanks, It's just I'm away for work at the moment so will be few days before I'm back so wanted to make sure it wasn't a case of having to activate the card within 24/48hrs of receiving it for example.Daliah said:

I'm due to complete on a house purchase in the next couple of months. Can anyone see a reason I wouldnt get the cashback if I paid the deposit and conveyancing fees out of my Chase current account? Money will be moved from the 1.5% into there or my salary account when needed.
Thanks in advance.#39 - Save £12k in 20250
