Thanks for the sentiment but I'm not really after sympathy.
I would rather have a dynamic and challenging life and push myself to acheive even if it occassionally gets stressful.
Each to their own I guess.
I was not complaining about the situation.
Just explaining why I couldn't meet Paul's demands with a short timescale.
Sometimes other things are more important than these boards.0 -
You mean you have a life????
Yes far too exciting to come here too often I'm afraid.0 -
Im sure its already been said - as I havnt got a week to go through all the post.
I signed up with T+ on the recommendation of a good friend who was an agent.
the customer service was very poor in every aspect - including the others services they do too.
If they could get their act together it could be a great company.
Gnever take advice from broke or unsuccessful people

Nigel (Independent T+ Distributor)The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

firstly, I am a T+ distributor.
there is obviously some T+ bashing going on here and the reson seems to be that in the supply of Gas & Electric people seem capable of only one dimensional thinking. Why in other forums and in the main site do people accept conditional small print but not here. A prime example is Broadband providers who sell on the headline rate and only include download limits in the small print. Whats cheapest for one is not cheapest for another.
Another example could be Landline calls. Im not doubting that 1899 etc.. are the cheapest but I would never consider using it as I doubt if the provider is using tier one telephony, which is unacceptable to my business profile, as quality is paramount. I need to use tier one suppliers, so i need to look beyond the one dimension.
Yet it seems only here that people dont look beyond the headline. For petes sake the small print is there for all to see. T+ are bound by the same rules as all other UK companies, all utilise the rules and stretch them to the maximum. You cant blame T+ for this you can only blame the rules they are governed by. Change the rules and all will have to fall in line.
what Im trying to say is that for other services people seem to accept Co. 'A' is the cheapest in such and such a situation but if your situation is the other then company 'B' is the cheapest. What is the difference??? T+ do the same if you look at the small print
Incidently, in the broadband section this site highlights V21 as the cheapest provider of 1MB unlimited broadband. Now I know of a provider that does it cheaper.........I wonder who that could be??????
No-ones perfect, so dont reserve criticism for a sole supplier.0 -

I think the main reason is the clearly blatant advertising by many T+ reps in breach of this site's guidelines.0 -

Some if people don't agree with you then they are not capable of thinking straight - rubbish !!
Many people have put up many coherent arguments about the problems with TPlus (if you'd bother to read the thousands of messages).
One of the problems people have is the multilple ASA complaints over TPlus false advertising.
Another problem is blatant disregard of the direct debit guarantee.
There you go - I'be given you two dimensions :-)0 -
Kengb I don't think people are reserving criticism for the companies you represent. Lisyloo mentions cases where conduct has been found wanting in the public arena, whereas Paul alludes to the conduct of various company representatives on this site itself.
If you think the discussion rather one-dimensional that is because some of the relief does not show. What you see here now is not a picture of everything that has happened. There are rules about advertising here which certain people have blatantly ignored, resulting in the majority of their posts being deleted and a large proportion of those that remain edited. This consumes time and effort for Board Guides and Abuse Controllers. If I were a representative of the company, I would see tend to see this alienating conduct as counter-productive.0
