Evening allOut early in the frost to Mr S for the first half of the main shop. Out after lunch to Mr T for the second half. First ride in the new car. Mr LH is still a bit unsure so I have suggested he goes out several times until he is more confident especially as he will be using it to tow the caravan. He hasnt towed for a long while so will need local practice until he does his first festival in May.It is still cold as I think everyone else is. We have a yellow warning for snow on Thursday but I dont think it will happen and is more likely to be rain.I have sold an item today so will brave the cold again tomorrow to go to the P.O. This is the first thing I have listed for a while so pleased its gone quickly. The last of the mammoth wash put away but there is a little bit of ironing to do at some point. Not an exciting day but the main shop is completed for the week. I will have to get a joint later as the only pork joints Mr T had were too big for us us but not big enough to cut in half. I might try the shops near the P.O. tomorrow.Have a good evening.2

Were they of a size that would fit in your slow cooker? If you can get it cooked then its worth getting whatever size you can and the cooked leftovers can be frozen in the gravy, or with gravy separate to be easy meals later on22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈2⭐ 26 🥈 Never save something for a special occasion. Evening all
As I said not much has happened since I was here last. The conservatory is still full of stuff from the garage so the replacement kitchen is on hold. It is apparently too wet or cold to move things. He thinks the contents of the kitchen will only need a small amount of space to store. The good thing is he has replaced the shelf in the under sink cupboard which was chip board and has got wet so has been gradually bending and disintegrating. I got so fed up with things falling over I put everything in a box and dumped it in a slightly inconvenient space in the conservatory. It worked within 48 hours.😁
As I cant do anything with the kitchen I think I will get some quotes for re doing the patio and more importantly the path. It currently has normal paving slabs but I want in with the smaller bricks as we have them at the bottom of the garden so although the colour will be different due to fading I think it will be more attractive.
What Mr LH has been busy with is sorting wiring, TV ariel and other stuff in the caravan. As you might expect this involved buying stuff such as cable, connectors etc. As we have never had a caravan he also has to get familiar with the water, toilet etc.
We had some excitement a couple of weeks ago while I was out for my evening walk. On my way home I noticed the sky was red. It wasn't bright but distinctly redder than usual. Yes it was the Northern lights. As we live in a high light pollution area this was exciting as it is the first time they have been visible here.
The only other thing I can think of at the moment is cleaning the oven. I know how to live!! I keep thinking I should get it done professionally but never get around to sorting it. I wont say it was a perfect job but is better than it was. Other than that all the usual housework, shopping, reading etc.
The weather has been diabolical as I sure you have noticed so the garden has been sadly neglected but I did get out for about 20mins (my limit) yesterday and tidied some containers.
Now time for my walk so I will end here. Have a good evening.
