    Evening all

Another day that started warm and cloudy but has become very hot. We are having to shut the back door for part of the afternoon as Bear keeps lying out in the sun on a brick patio.

A friend who has been on holiday for a couple of weeks called for coffee and immediately noticed I have lost a little bit of weight which was very gratifying. Weigh day tomorrow.

I managed to hoover the lounge today which badly needed doing. Other than just trying not to feel too hot. I am not looking forward to tomorrow which is supposed to be the hottest.

5 items with bids that all finish tonight but I am afraid they will have to wait until Tuesday to be posted as I am not leaving the house tomorrow due to the very hot weather other than wallking Bear in the morning and evening. I am not sure what we will do tommorrow but at the most he wont be leaving the very local green area and will only be out for a maximum of a few minutes and always on grass.

I will have to go to the sm for some salad stuff but that will be long before the PO opens.

We had fireworks somewhere local about 11pm last night fortunately Bear wasnt bothered . I am not sure what they were in aid of.

A peaceful evening here and I hope you have the same.

I just walked mine in the woods, thinking it would be cooler this late and we'd be in the shade. Big mistake as we all got bitten by flies, small ones on the dogs and big ones on me. We lasted 20minutes. Eurgh!
Getting up super early was probably far more sensible but my two would probably die of shock. Nothing much happens in this house til 10am.
It's great that the buyer has started the cleaning, hopefully one less thing for you to worry about.

I spent about an hour and a half this morning packing 5 parcels. One was a teaset so lots of pieces to wrapand another was a mixed lot of little bits. Very hot when I had finished so time to sitt and recover before running (well a slow walk) around after Mr LH.

We managed to get Bear out for a walk before it got too hot but I think we shoud have made it a bit shorter as he seemed quite stressed when we got home.

Out for the main shop this afternoon then had a long nap as I slept very badly last night. 4 hours is just not enough.

Garden has had a good water this evening and I have damp dusted the bedroom. Everywhere needs hoovering but not tonight.

Bank account checked and a couple of bills paid.

Looking forward to a cooler day tomorrow if the forecast is correct and having my hair cut.

    Have a good evening.

Another non productive day with Mr LH getting up early. I will be glad when it is cooler and he is more reluctant to get up and he stops worrying about bils house.

I did mange to hoover throughout downstairs while he was in the bathroom. Finished the shopping that I couldnt get on Tuesday.

Hair done yesterday. I am not sure what she has done to it as it doesnt look right at the moment but I am sure it will settle eventually when I wash it. I think the problem is he straightened it so it doesnt sit to my satisfaction but that is gradually sorting itself out. It always makes me laugh as like many people I always get home and brush it to suit me rather than the hairdresser.

Money moved as required and a couple of bills psid.

Off now to water the garden as it has been another very warm day with no rain.

    Have a good evening.

I normally dislike my hair done at the hairdressers - it’s too smooth and posh, bit awkward when it’s one of my close friends !

One of my previous hairdressers couldn’t believe it when I told her the first thing most people do when they’ve had their hair done is go to the nearest toilet and brush it to how they like it 🤣 My current hairdresser is obsessed with blow drying my hair into soft waves. It always looks too messy for me so I can’t wait to get an Afro comb through it and sort it out 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
