Evening allA very muggy day although not as hot as some places probably because it has been cloudy for much of the day.I have been looking on line for some clothing items but am really puzzled by the lack of what I want. It is nothing outlandish but I have spent ages looking and cant find anything even if I pay more than I nornally would. Very odd.On the other hand I have found sardines for Bear in Al** so he will be happy. The memorandum of sale has been sent to all the relevant people so now we just wait for mortgage companies and solicitors to do their thing. Hopefully quickly.Shopping this morning to get the things I couldnt get onTuesday and treated myself to some cherries. I do enjoy them but they have such a short season.A parcel packed ready to post tomorrow and another sale that I m waiting to be paid for. The garden is doing ok. I am not watering tonight as we are due for overnight rain.
I hope all have a good weekend.5 -
Fingers crossed for the sale going through 🤞It’s been hot and sunny here all day. Gutted to be stuck in an office for a good portion of it 🙁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Evening allNot a productive few days but have done 2 loads of washing and put them away.A few more items listed and 2 sold so they were posted this morning. Proud of myself in that I went to the sm after the PO and only bought cigarettes and some grapes.I have at last got back to trying to lose some weight and although this is the first week I have lost 4lbs.Bear and Mr LH are very miserable with the weather being warm. I am coping a bit better than usual but will probably suffer as the week goes on and it gets hotter.Bear went to the secure field today but we didnt let him run as much usual due to the temp. I dont think we will take him at all next week unless the forecast is wrong.I have made a decision to visit a hairdresser and get my hair trimmed. I have just let it grow since I stopped work and it is now very frizzy at the ends and halfway down my back. I reckon 6inches can go and I wont miss it really. Then keep up with it regularly hopefully. I will pop[ into a local one, make an appointment and try them. My hair has a wave which can makes things hard because if its cut wrong it doesnt sit right.I have also ordered some socks on line plus a thermal vest for Mr LH. I dont think he will need it for a bit but I like to be prepared.Garden watered tonight using the watering can with water from the water butt.I am also very gradually trying to sort my bedroom so my wardrobe is a bit more orderly and I can see exactly what I have got. I am planning on spending on some new clothes when the house sells. I hope its before winter as I have already disposed of a couple of winter items. I dont have many clothes but want to get some nice going out outfits rather than just pick the best of what I have got.A theatre trip booked for August and the panto for the dgds and I think thats the lot for now.Have a good evening.5

Evening all.Today did not go as planned due to Bear not being well. He has been a bit lethargic in the last few days but we had put it down to the hot weather but today he did seem to be at all well, was eating very slowly and hardly drinking so a vet visit was in order instead of going shopping. She thinks either he has been stung or caught his gum on a twig he has chewed and it has become infected. He now has pain killers and antibiotics so hopefully he will be fit very soon. He is a little so & so chasing and catching flying things so I would think he caught a bee or a wasp. He does seem a bit brighter so I think the pain killer has kicked in.I have done a bit more sorting out but because there is still a fair bit of stuff my friend gave me to sell I dont have a lot of space to move things about. but there is some progress. Some weeding done and tomatoes have been fed.Credit card paid in full as usual.Prescription ordered.A little bit of dusting. Why is this house s dusty?Mr LH wanted takeaway fish and chips this evening so had to go for that (in the car). Not good for my weight loss but very enjoyable.Have a good evening.5

Evening allGosh its hot. Mr LH has just informed me its 27.5 in the lounge. I am sitting here by the open door so it is probably slightly cooler.Bear seems to be a lot more like himself but is still chasing flies etc. He hasnt had much of a walk today just up our field and back to say he had been out. I will try to take him a bit further tonight but I cant use the scooter because no matter how prepared I am I cant set off instantly and he starts barking. We have a fair number of young children here so it isnt fair to have a noisy dog at 9pm.Bed changed today so washing tomorrow. Lounge dusted and hoovered. A little bit of listing done.No money spent today thank goodness as it has been a very expensive month one way and another. Tomorrow I will have to finish the shopping and get Bear tick and flea treatment. After I paid £127 for his vet visit on Monday they texted me to say they have undercharged me £3.00.Plants watered once the sun had gone off them. All bins out except garden as they come on Monday. Our three weekly non recycling started this week and the new recycling day last week. For some reason they collected my side of the road but left the other side. As someone said the council have an app which reminds what is being collected so that has been downloaded but a lot of people seem very confused as the wrong bins are being put out in a lot of cases. No doubt people will get used to it.Some more done on sorting my bedroom out. I am getting to the stage where I cant do much more until I can get rid of a load of paperwork from my bils house.Thats my lot for the day. Have a good evening.4
