A coach trip sounds like a great idea. I hope you can find one you like the sound of or you could take a risk on one that you're not sure about?2

I havent found one yet but am still looking. I had considered a mystery tour but am a bit worried that it will stop and I will have to walk a distance.1 -
Evening allMy apologies for the recent "poor me" posts. I am feeling a bit more positive today. As you will see from the previos posts I havent found a coach trip yet but I will keep going through the list. There are a lot. I have also been trying to find a couple of theatre trips but there is really nothing I fancy that has access seats available. I am not so bothered about the price but I do need a seat near the entrance as I find theatre steps quite disorientating.I had to go to the sm this morning to get Mr LHs cigs which will save going tomorrow so a PO trip will be easier. On the way back I could stop and chat to several dogowners I know that I usually have to avoid because Bear doesnt like them and I usually have him with me when I see them.A bit of ironing done and possibly saved a bit of money by doing the last item after I turned the iron off.We took Bear out but Mr LHs knee is still sore so he only did half of it. We are at the field tomorrow so that might be a bit easier for him. When I got back from his walk I found a bird has Christened one of the windows so once the sun was off it cleaned that. By the spred I suspect it was a seagull,The road and pavement works have been a bit easier over the weekend as the barriers have been left so I can get past them when walking. The lunchtime walk still entails detours. I understand the pavement work will go on until the 20th of this month so the chaos will continue. I have no idea how long the roadworks will continue as they are gas whereas the pavement are Openreach.Yesterdays laundry put away and another lot hung up to dry.A bit of my book read. The Dark Wives by Ann Cleeves. I am about halfway through and really enjoying it. I dont really get on with the TV series but I dont know why especially as I like Brenda Blethyn.Roast Pork dinner today with enough left for tomorrow in some form.Have a good evening.3

No apologies ever needed, you have a lot on your plate and we are all sympathising with and rooting for you. Glad today was a more positive day.
Those roadworks are a blimmin nuisance, that seems to be the modern world though. Not at all the same level as yours, but we've had the gas road works being incredibly loud quite early yesterday and today. I appreciate they're trying not to disrupt traffic during the working week but can residents not have a bit of peace of a weekend, especially Sunday morning 🙄2 -
My friends parents once got on a mystery tour bus whilst on holiday, it brought them to the next village to their home (big touristy spot) so they nipped home, watered the plants and had a nice cup of tea!Sealed pot challenge 822

Is it worth hiding a supply of OHs cigs for when you can't get to (can't be bothered to get to) the sm?What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?1

As I spend almost £80 pw I resent spending any more than that. They are a ridiculous price and the gp has told him he shouldnt stop due to mental health. Perhaps I should ask the gp to contribute.

@ladyholly - I just finished The Dark Wives and really enjoyed it. I think the Vera books have more depth to the various characters than the tv adaptations can achieve. Sometimes when the tv episode ends I'm still confused by who actually did it and why 🤷♀️.1
