LadyHolly - you have made my day! The thought of Bear having sardines for tea once a week is just lovely. What a lucky lad he is to have found a home with you.2

I also smiled about the sardines, but I didn't tell Ash or he'll be wanting them too!
F2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!2 -
Evening allA very lazy day as it is far too warm/ close for me to do much. Even Mr LH is complaining. I have pottered a bit in the house and just read my book. The weather tomorrow is forecast to be very wet with possible storms.I have cut a few leaves of my courgettes so the sun can get to the flowers. There are more strawberries on the way and my apples seem to be growing nicely. The tree is in a pot and is only 3years years old so not sure how well they will do. I didnt get any last year but judging by the trees where we take Bear (it used to be a orchard) it will be a good apple year. I have not been successful with anything else oh yes there are a few tomatoes but even the lettuce failed.I think thats it for today so have a good evening.1

Evening allIt has absolutely poured down today but no thunder thank goodness.I had to give the kitchen a good clean this morning after dropping the full sugar bowl. Mr LH did some cleaning up last night after it happened while I walked Bear but things were still very sticky this morning.Doesnt sugsr travel a long way.I had a phone call from the estate agent and good news. My buyer has accepted an offer on his house. It is a fairly short chain - only 4 including me and the first person is a first time buyer. I cant quite believe it and am still aware that it could all go wrong.so trying not to get to excited yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.I did laugh at Mr LH took Bear on his own at lunchtime as it was raining and I didnt realise how he was dressed when he went out in a temperature of about 20C. He had a long sleeved shirt. a fleece jumper, a winter jacket, waterproof trousers and wellies. Oh yes and a hat. He was complaining he was hot when he got home. Cant imagine why.My courgettes seem to have perked up since the rain and me cutting the leaves back.Nothing much else other than usual bank check, using as little electricity as possible etc.Have a good evening3
