Well done on the listing.  I hope your friend appreciates your kindness in taking things off her hands.  Listing and packing/posting is hard work, even if you get some of the benefits at the end!

She does and is grateful. Its just getting so much at once is overwhelming and I still have one box theat I dont know where I am going to put. I can barely get to the bedroom window to open and close the curtains . Will be off soon to teke 4 parcels to the PO and then I have to go in the oppisite direction to collect my prescription which I need today as I forrgot it on Saturday. I just hope I can get everything on the scooter as buses will take much longer to do.

    Evening All

4 parcels posted and a nightmare trip to get my prescription. The pavements along the road do not always have drops which I couldnt see until I reached the kerb and had to reverse a long way to the dropped kerb, one of the paths was so narrow I coudnt get the scooter along it so had to go on the road. At one point I had to cross on a 4 way junction which was quite busy. Plus the pavements are in a shocking state. I did reach the pharmacy in one piece.

The land agent came for me to sign the final papwo items sold today which will be posted tomorrow when we go shoppingerwork on the land which will be completed on Friday all being well. Now we just have to get the house sold.

We jave a 4th camera up at the house thanks to the neighbour and he has put a verbal alert on it is anyone accesses the driveway as well as the alarm.

Two items sold today which I will post when we go shopping tomorrow.. That is now I have found both of them. One was easy but the second one had disappeared into the depths of the bedroom and took ages to find.  Just need to pack them in the morning.

No listing done today but I must do some more in the morning. Almost time to take Bear out so  wishing you a good evening.

The pavements & dropped kerb situation is dire.
Hopefully the land saga is coming to an end.

    Evening all

I have had a mail from the land agents solicitor wanting account details for payment for the land. I had to write back to him to remind him the money has to go to the solicitor not me. Shame though. I have emailed the estate agent that if we are not signing contracts by the 9th May we will withdraw from the sale and go to a different agent. I am sick to death of delays. There is no excuse as it is supposed to be a cash sale. We think they are just delaying and delaying for some reason.

Out to the PO to post 3 not 2 parcels on our way to go shopping as another item sold this morning. I have had to buy some boxes which I hate doing but as I had stopped selling in theory I havent been getting empty ones from various friends and neighbours. Also I have had to get some larger than usual ones. More stuff to go in the bedroom.

A couple more items listed and I have brought another half dozen downstairs to do them in the morning.

Garden watered tonight which seemed very hard work. I really do not do well in the hot weather. I even got Mr LH to take Bear out last night as I was wiped out.

Mr :H was u[ at 8am today which is unheard of but he isnt sleeping well so nothing has got done as if I tyr to start something he interupts, wants something and is generally a barrier to work.

    Have a good evening.

Good for you stating a deadline, if there's no reason for delay then you don't have to play their nonsense disrespectful game. I have no idea how we live in a society where the people least suited to do very important jobs always seem to be the ones doing them!
There must be some nice spot with no extradition treaty you could afford if the funds were 'resting in your account' 😁
