It feels like things are moving re the sale of the house but that may feel like the longest bit - so close and yet so far! It’s a shame Mr LH is so impacted by attempted break ins. Fingers crossed for you that things move quickly once we are away from the Bank Holiday weekend where everything seems to grind to a halt. And rant away if it helps.

    Evening all

I was going to the sm this morning but as it was raining and the buses are awful on Bank holidays I didnt get there.

This took all my inspiration for doing anything so finished my book instead.

Still no movement on clearing the garage.

Laundry that was done yesterday has been put away.

I have had a text from bil's neighbour who has checked the boarding which is secure but the little darlongs had ripped it all off the shed/ outhouse. This is quite a large building and although there is nothing in it to interets anyone it must have appealed to their destructive ideas. It has now been replaced thanks to the neighbour.

A very unproductive day but I feel a bit better for it.

Thank goodness for the neighbour. As for the 15 year olds 🤬 What is it with this age group they feel the need to be such little 🤬

Gosh that neighbour is worth his weight in gold, if only more people were like that! Definitely some of (Mr LH's 😁) share of inheritance should go towards a case of wine or somesuch as a thank you when this is all settled

A needed rest day is not an unproductive day, quite the opposite 💪

You are right. I dont know how we would have managed without him.  My bil was also a recipient of his many kindnesses. We do have a plan for when everything is sorted.

    Evening all

Much of the morning spent lugging boxes up stairs and then finding somewhere to put them. The bedroom is back to looking like a stockroom and will have to get on with listing some of it in the next few days. Oh joy especially as some of the items arent going to be a simple listing to do as they come in small parts so will need to check all the parts are there.

The garage roller door is going ahead as the quote was less than I expected but there is a lead time of 4 weeks so we will have to be patient.

Poor Bear had an awful walk because of the number of vans that we saw. He appears to be very scared of tem and reacts quite badly. I am hoping Mr LH will take him tonight so I can watch the first episode of Race across the world. It depends if he wakes up or not oytherwise it will be iplayer tomorrow.

Another book finished today so will have to find a new one for bedtime.

Email tonight from the land agent. They have received the letter from the water company so one stage nearer completion which has to be done by 30/04 or the contract is void so they had better move themselves.  All I need now is some action on the house and I dont mean by the local vandals.

    Have a good evening
