That's brilliant news about the land sale, hope you get a result with the house soon as well.

    Evening all

A busy morning but doing what I cant tell you. Not because its a secret but simply it was all bits and pieces. 2 loads of washing done and about half of it is dry and put away.

I have emailed the estate agent today (I have largely been dealing with her CEO) to let her know we are planning to offer the house at a reduction for a quick sale to the family that wanted it and explained why we are not happy with the existing buyer.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day packing as I have sold 10 items which will all need packing. I am glad its a bank holiday so cant post until Tuesday. It is Bear day at the secure field and I will have to pick up some bubble wrap on the way home as I dont think I will have enough. I cant fit the rolls on the scooter so a lift will be very useful.

    Have a good evening.

I'm pleased the land sale is concluded.  You have very diligently fulfilled your bil's wishes through lots of trials and tribulations.  I hope the charities use the money to support their good work to benefit others.

now you can give the estate agent your full attention with further kicks up their bottom to get your part of the inheritance sorted asap.

Unfortunately I am pretty certain the house sale will fail. I know why but cant really say here. This means we have to start again. If the original family cant commit I am not sure what I do a I really dont want to start again as the boarding would have to come down and I would have to get the door and windows fixed. I am reluctant to have to remove the boarding as we have had so many break in attempts. An auction might be a possibilty but I am not anywhere near to be there for viewings. It is all very difficult and Mr LH being so depressed is not helping. I am having to try to be upbeat all the time even when I am not.

Anyway enough moaning. I have had 12 items sell over the weekend and there are bids on another 5 where items end at various points during the week. I have a large pile of boxes ready for posting tomorrow. I will have to go to the PO twice to get them alll there. some will go first thing and the rest when we go shopping. Unfortunately most of the sale have been small items so

Bear had a lovely run in the secure field. he is bringing the ball part way back but frequently drops it in his water and then puts his front paws in the water as well. When it is nicely muddy he will have a drink.

Bubble wrap bought on the home so I could finish wrapping parcels this afternoon.

Lounge has been dusted before it got too thick. I still need to hoover but finding an oppurtunity is hard with Mr LH not sleeping and being up early. i usually do it after waking him and him getting up.

    Have a good evening.

Oh what a nightmare with the house sale 😞 It’s a shame Mr LH can’t take some of the stress from you. I hope there’s a solution soon.

That's such a shame about the house.

    Well done on the sales.

I have had the most ridiculous email from the estate agent CEO today. Apparently 7 days for a solicitor to review the answers to the questions I replied to is not unreasonable. He got a very short mail back saying I thought it was ridiculous when his clients only have 4 days until they lose the property. I may be cutting off my nose to spite my face but they are deliberately stalling so I will be sticking to that. They were sent the answers last Monday so it is 7 days anyway - no one said anything about working days. I wonder if they think I wont pull it but if they are banking on that they will be disappointed.

Out this morning to post most of the parcels on a very overloadd scooter  and did the rest this afternoon. We didnt get shopping as mr LH didnt want to go so I will have to do that in the morning. I am trying to decide whether to use the scooter and have to get more later in the week or a taxi and get all but things like milk. I have sold another item so will have to go to the PO anyway. Decisions decisions. I am really missing my local PO as the one I now have to use is either at the co-op which I find very pricey or in a local store which only sells basics and is even more expensive. We did however buy a new mouse for the computer as the roller ball on the old one had stopped worrking which was very annoying especially when listing stuff.

Kitchen cleaned and the remains of the washing either put away or added to the ironing pile which is only about 4 items so not worth heating the iron up for.

    Have a good evening.

It seems that the EA has got confused about who is their client and paying their fees.
