Evening allA productive day with the housework. I have finished cleaning and sorting the kitchen cupboards, started on the paintwork in the kitchen, cleaned the lounge windows, washed the net curtain ( I dont like them but our lounge window is right on the footpath and with patio windows at the far end feel as though I live in a goldfish bowl) and finished some listing I started yesterday. We both took Bear today but I think Mr LH was suffering with his back when we got home.A quiet afternoon in front of rubbish TV before cooking dinner.I have ordered an orange and a lemon tree for the patio. I am hoping they arent too big when they arrive but I doubt they will be. I have never grown them before so it could be a disaster. I am debating on where exactly to put them but I will see when they arrive.I have done a couple of short surrveys. Money shuffle done to various pots.I am going to the theatre tomorrow to see Shen Yun with dd and sil. It has very varied reviews from awful to brilliant so I will see. Having seen a similar type of show in China it will be interesting to see what an American company does with Chinese dance etc.Thats my day. Have a good evening.

I’ve been successful with an orange and lemon tree producing fruit albeit tiny. The trees are both quite small so yours might be too.I hope you enjoy the show tomorrow at least you’re going with an open mind.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Apparently crushed egg shells in the soil of citrus trees are good for them, so if you have an egg don't bin the shell! Pleased to hear you've spent some money on a nice thing for you 😊2

Just read the descriptin properly and they are both 9cm so I dont think size will be a problem. I understand they are quite slow growing so again wont be a problem for a long while.1

Evening allThe show was ok. Not great but not terrible. It seemed to be aimed more at an American audience which isnt surrprising in an American company. I remembered that we have a DVD of the show we saw in China in Xian so watched that this morning and really there was no comparison in my opinion. Having said that I realise I am in a privileged position in being able to make a comparison and the audience seemed to enjoy it. The orchestra of mixed European and Chinese instruments was excellent.Today I have finished cleaning the kitchen paintwork, tiles kick boards and walls. In the kitchen I just have to clean the oven before its all done.I am not looking forward to that at all as I have difficulty kneeling for any length of time not to mention getting up and down but its go to be done so will suck it up. It probably wont be done tomorrow as I have to go out in the morning for my prescription so Sunday is more likely.Bank account checked and a couple of little surveys done. Approaching a payout which will be good. Hopefully next week.Used up some mushrooms for dinner along with a tomato that was looking a bit iffy.My orange and lemon trees have arrived but have just left them in the conservatory for tonight as it has been very windy and wet for much of the day although I did manage to use the scooter to take Bear out at lunchtime with only a little drizzle. The forecast is better for tomorrow so will hopefully get them done then.I hope evryone has had a good day and happy weekend.5

When you finally get some money from your hard earned work sorting out the palavers of the land and inheritance, might it be a good/nice thing to pay for a cleaner to do the jobs that cause you pain or difficulty?3

Evening allA very unhappy ladyholly house. As some of you my have realised Mr LH has some mental health problems and this weekend he has had a melt down into depression - bad temper, not speaking, not eating etc. This is largely because of the lack of action from the solicitors and he is very stressed by it and I feel he is blaming me for it. I have actually written a complaint that after two months from being given permission to go ahead with the sale of the house and garden there has been no action. His excuse he has fallen behind with his work and will review the file etc. I have written to my more senior solicitor expressing my displeasure. Yes I have two solicitors. I am wondering what I am paying them for.On to better things. I have cleaned the oven. Probably not the best job but it is much better than it was.1 ebay sale posted and another with bids which ends in a couple of days.I have made a start on cleaning the hallway paintwork. There are 4 panelled doors plus the front door and skirting boards, bannister etc. Hopefully will be able to continue tomorrow and finish it very soon.Bear is being very difficult at the moment with pulling, reacting to people, dogs, vans etc. He has always done these things but they are worse than usual. I suspect he is reacting to the mood in the house. I am trying to keep things calm but in reality I am on edge most of the time waiting for the next explosion from Mr LH and of course he knows that so he is not happy. He is a sensitive dog and while he understands physical hurts to an extent mental ones are beyond him.It is our 52nd wedding anniversary today but it hasnt been mentioned and for the first time ever Mr LH refused steak for dinner so we had a sausage sandwich each. His choice. I cant be bothered to cook anything for just me. The steak will go in the freezer for a later date.I am sorry this a somewhat gloomy post but hopefully things will improve soon.I hope everone else is doing ok..5

I’m sorry you’re feeling down through no fault of your own. I realise Mr LH has MH issues but it’s not your fault the solicitor is rubbish and he shouldn’t make you wear a hair shirt because of the situation.Mr SA used to be so similar to Mr LH so I can relate to the awful atmosphere they can create. Dogs pick up on this sort of thing so no wonder Bear is reacting. It isn’t fair on you having to bear the brunt so I hope you can escape to a quiet corner and do something you enjoy for yourself, stuff Mr LH. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you 🙏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
