Evening allParcel posted and main shop done but I will have to return Friday or Saturday to get the stuff I forgot. I should have wrietten a proper list.Home to a very grumpy Mr LH as the gp had phoned at 8.40 (after I had left to go shopping) for whatever reason. I tried to phone them back but couldnt get through so will try tomorrow. I have no idea what they want but no doubt I will be told. The solicitor has turned up and the latest problem seems to be being solved but I dont know how long it will take.A friend called for a coffee which made us very late taking Bear but as he loves her that wasn't a problem. Its a good job I did the shopping this morning or we would have got caught up in the school traffic on the way home which never pleases Mr LH.I have cleared up the mess left in the garden by the gutter chap as it didnt rain although cold and gloomy but I still need to get up on the steps and clean the front of the conservatory which shouldnt take long. I might be able to do some of it with my mop which would save time and me climbing the ladder.Last of the washing put away. There wasnt much to iron so it has joined last weeks items and will wait unti there is enough to make it worthwhile heating the iron and thats my lot for today.Have a good evening.4

Evening allBathroom cleaned and the outside of the conservatory washed down as it was quite mild. Mr LH said the gutter chap had done the conservatory gutter but he hadnt so I cleaned that out as well. The big news for today is I have signed the contract for the development land so now we just wait to see when the dig takes place and hope the pipe is deep enough to satisfy the water company. Mr LH has calmed down a bit and has actually eaten all his dinner for the first time in about three weeks. He goes completely off food when he is stressed, ill, unhappy etc.I am late writing this so I will finish here as its time to take Bear out for his last walk.
Have a good night.5 -
Funny that Mr LH has been off his food due to stress etc when it seems to be you who is dealing with all the stressful things 🤔
Hope the signing of the contract means the end is in sight for the development land. Fingers crossed for you 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Anything out of the ordinary causes his stress levels to rise. He then loses his appetite, gets very grumpy and argumentative. That causes my stress levels to rise and we then bounce off each other.
I tend to try to keep stuff away from him as the simplest problem becomes a major issue and I really can't be bothered with it.
It makes me laugh because he keeps saying the inheritance and will bequests are nothing to do with him but wants to know everything that's going on.2 -

I can’t believe how much Mr LH sounds like Mr SA pre illness! I used to keep as much as possible from him otherwise he’d be unbearable to live with. He could create an atmosphere you could cut with a knife for days. One good thing that came out of his brain injury is that part of him has completely disappeared.I hope everything goes smoothly from now onwards 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I, too think that Mr SA and Mr LH must be brothers. They do seem to be very alike although probably both would deny it. I know exactly what you mean re an atmosphere that could last days. His father was much the same.

Evening allBeen awol for a few days as nothing is happening really. Main shop done as usual on Tuesday.Nothing yet about a date for the dig on the land starting, What a surprise. Considering the panic for the contract being delayed due to not having probate last autumn they have slowed to a snails pace with no apparent reason.A couple of friends came for coffee and brought some unwanted stuff for me to sell for them so some more listing is in my future.I have started to sort out stuff that is not needed as hopefully one day we will be in a position to have some work done on the house. We have a lot of unwanted stuff or at least Mr LH has a lot of unwanted stuff. I think he has boxes in his work room that have never been opened since we moved here over 20 years ago. He never got around to sorting it all out before we moved so it all just went into boxes and there it has remained. There is already a pile in the garden that is waiting until better weather as its all wet so Mr LH doesnt want it in the car. This is all from the autumn and then the rain overtook us.No money spent except for the food shop which was on budget.I made a stew for dinner or at least what Mr LH calls stew. No root veg just mushrooms and onion. He has some odd ideas sometimes. Anyway the mushrooms needed using so stew it was and there is a portion left for the freezer which I can have sometime when he wants something I am no keen on.Thats it for now. Have a good evening.7
