    Evening all

Out early this morning, unfortunately on the bus as it was raining, to get cheap veg which will go in the freezer as soon as I have prepared it.

No Christmas tree yet as I bought quite a lot more stuff than the veg so by the time I got home I had had enough. It is still in the storage bag which confused Mr LH last night when he noticed it as he couldnt make out what it was.. Never mind tomorrow is another day.

I did take our friends Christmas presents round to them on the scooter as it wasnt raining and they were heavy.

Mr LH took Bear out on his own as it was raining again. I think he was a bit miffed I didnt go but it was raining a little and according to the forecast it should have got heavier. It didnt in fact it stopped. I didnt waste the time though as I dusted the lounge and hoovered all round the house, prepared dinner and had a cup of tea ready for him when he got home.

I then sank into the chair after that time of mad activity.

Tomorrows plan is the tree and veg prep. I have one more shopping trip to do on monday before Christmas to get flowers for dd for when I visit her on Tuesday.

    Have a good evening.

The tree is up and decorated at last. Hooray. It isnt a big one but took me ages to do and included wobbling on the step ladder. It goes on a table so that Bear cant get to it . I think he would like the baubles.

I am in trouble this evening as when I bought Mr LHs sherry it turned out it isnt sherry but British fortified wine and isnt very nice. Unfortunately the printing with the name is quite small and is gold on a darkish blue background which I couldnt see without my glasses. I cant wear my glasses all the time as then the world is a blur. I tried varifocals but couldnt get on with them.  I will pop out tomorrow and get him some real sherry hopefully. I know they dont have many in our Sainsbury  so will have to hope they have something suitable. I can also get his cigarettes instead of on Monday and the couple of other bits that I need.

Bear was not impressed with the wind today but according to the forecast it will be worse tomorrow.

Cheap veg is prepped and in the freezer. I might get some more tomorrow if they have any.

Mr LH has a cold and is very grumpy with it. Hence the moaning over the non sherry.

    Thats it for now.
    Have a lovely evening

A busy morning today. By 9.30 am I had walked Bear, changed the bed, made 2 1/2 dozen mince pies and hung up the first load of washing and started off a second load.  Then out to find sherry. I can only get a dry one or Bristol cream when he really wants an amontillado. I got the dry one so will see if that acceptable to him. Hard luck if it isnt. Did most of the rest of the shopping I needed but forgot to take my list and I have remembered I need to collect my meds tomorrow as I wont have enough to get through Christmas so out first thing in the morning again.

I am somewhat mifffed at having to go out again.

The rest of the morning was pottering and doing bits and pieces.

Out with Bear after lunch and then a quiet afternoon in front of the TV.

    Have a peaceful evening.
