Part of the problem is that I rarely go to the doctor. Not been for over a year until last week so they think I dont have problems plus the fact my breathing has no diagnosis as all the tests were negative. GP & I think it is to do with the mg but the neurologist doesnt so I am left with no proper answer. I will persist.

    Evening all

Its been a sort of busy day. Out early on the scooter to find it hadnt charged because when the tool box was taken out of the garage it knocked the plug from the socket, checked the app to see where the bus was. 5 minutes away so put scooter away,  dashed back in the house to get pound coins as it was too early to use bus pass and went to the bus stop. Just made it but it meant a very slow walk round the sm 'coz I had been rushing and then found a queue at the cigarette counter, eventually got the cigs and back to the bus stop with about a minute to spare. Didnt get all I intended as I couldnt carry more.

Had a cup of tea on return home and went to dig Mr LH out of bed to do the gate. He went back to sleep despite being called 3 times. By the time he was dressed and had breakfast it was midday and he went to buy screws for the gate. I took Bear out while he finally started the gate. When he had finished I painted the bare wood - only one coat as it was getting damp so need to do another one tomorrow if its dry.

I had a nap and then cooked dinner - risotto. While clearing away I saw how grubby the inside of the kitchen cupboards are. I cleaned one but by that time I was struggling so will do more in the morning.

I have wrapped a couple of presents. I still need to get one but will do that with the main shop tomorrow.

Recycling out and nearly fell while doing it but managed to save myself. Crashed into the gate that Mr LH had been working on. Fortunately both the gate and I are fine. Mr LH would not have been pleased if I had damaged it.

Now I am going to rest and watch the final episode of Wolf Hall on Iplayer as I am shattered.

    Have a good evening.

Glad you are ok after your tumble. Much more ok that you are ok than the gate.

Frankly the gate can go toddle.  Are you sure you are okay as I know once we get past a certain age even a minor overbalance or overstretch can cause issues.  In my case very easily pulled muscles.

    Evening all

Lots of phone calls to assorted people this morning including one to cancel my xray. Remade it for early New Years Eve morning which suits me better.

Out to pump up the scooter tyres to find I have another puncture. Of course it was in the last tyre I pumped up. If I had known I would have left the others as Mr LH will check them all tomorrow. As we have had 2 lots of visitors Mr LH didnt get out before dark and the rain to fix it for me. I dont feel  guilty at getting him to do it as he does very little else. Ended up walking with Bear for his walk as Mr LH had to go home just after we started his walk. I sounded like a steam train by the time I got home but I made it all the way round his usual wlk.

Frustrating time on the computer as I was trying to forward an email to Mr LH but although it said it had been sent it didnt arrive in Mr LHs in box. Tried several times and even did a copy and paste but no joy until after lunch when some of them decided to arrive. Very confused.

I have finished present wrapping except for money wallets for the family as I havent withdrawn the money yet. It will be done tomorrow when I go for a blood test at the gp.

I was going to put the tree up tomorrow but it will have to wait until Friday as I need to make the first lot of gift mince pies in the morning. More to do before Christmas for dd and dgd. Luckily only one of our dgds likes mince pies. There will also be brandy butter for dd which will be dropped off when presents are delivered to them.

That me done for todaty except Bears last walk at 9pm which will be a wet one tonight. Have a good evening.

I hope all the drain work goes smoothly and you can finally move on.  It is annoying that they want everyone to pay though.

Blood test done and I went to Morrisons to see if they had anything interesting as I rarely get there - they didnt so kept my purse in my pocket. Had a wait for the taxi home which wasnt much fun as it was cold and they have never replaced the seat outside so had to stand while waiting.

First lot of gift mince pies done and put in the Christmas tin I alwaays use which my friend will return when empty for next year.

Mr LH asked to be woken at 10am but only managed to leave his bed about midday but he has sorted the scooter for me.

I sold a TV on facebook today so that is a few pennies for us. It was one that came from my bil and has been waiting for me to list it for ages.

The best news of of the day came in the form of an email from the land people. Some of the other owners pushed back against the developer who have now agreed to bear the whole cost of the dig. Now we just have to wait for the pre contract to arrive which may be before Christmas but more likely just after. The dig may be pushed back a week or two depending when the solicitors shift themselves. Unfortunately mine is only working part time at present due to health problems so it is possible it may be me holding things up.

I am hoping to get the tree up tomorrow and then hopefully we will be more or less ready for Christmas.

    Have a good evening.
