I have no idea if the charity is aware as I am leaving them to the solicitor and as I get charged every time either he or I communicate in any way I keep them to the minimum. At the moment I am doing nothing until the estate agent has spoken to the buyers and the land people have had their meeting with the water company. Then I will see .3

Evening allAnother night when I woke about 5am with stuff going round and round in my brain. I didnt get up until 6.30am when Bear came and started to nudge me.I printed out the enquiry forms the solicitor has sent for selling the house. It took me about an hour to print them all and had to change the ink cartridge part way through. I think there were about 70 pages in all. Then out to buy the milk I forgot yesterday. On my return I wrapped the presents for my visiting friends on monday. I spent the rest of the morning filling the forms in. There are quite a few questions I dont know the answer to. Remind me to never move I am not going through all that again although to be fair in my own house I would know the answers. I will go through them tomorrow and check everything is as correct as I can make it and then get Mr LH to check it again. I am not paranoid honest.Bear was quite wound up on his walk today not helped by our local scrap man passing us and using the loudspeaker on his truck. It is very distorted and loud and Bear hates it even when he is at home with the door shut.A nice nap this afternoon which was much needed. I have a sale which will be posted Tuesday as I dont think I will have time on Monday. All being well I will make some mince pies tomorrow and clean through the house as much as I can without getting too shattered.Have a good evening5

Evening all.Manged to stay asleep untill 6.20 which isnt that much earlier than usual. Leisurly start to the day which I shouldnt have had.Mince pies made. Twice as many as I intended as I added too much fat for the amount of flour I had weighed out. Never mind I am sure they will get eaten. That all meant I didnt get as much cleaning done as I intended and then Mr LH got up early so I didnt get chance to hoover. I will have to try to do it in the morning after I wake him to get up early to meet friends off the train. He is ok with the noise as long as he is still upstairs and I shut the doors.Friend came for coffee which was nice. We took Bear out and someone we vaguely know was putting what we tthink is all her partners stuff outside her garden. I dont think he will have been happy when he got home but havent heard anything more. We dont know her to talk to so will have to wait to find out more. I hope it didnt rain before he could collect.Roast pork dinner cooked eaten and cleared away.
Almost everything is off ebay just waiting for a a couple of auctions to end just in case there is a last minute bid. Unlikly but possible. I have also managed to get almost everything off my dressing table and into cupboards and drawers. Just a few books and a small basket with things in it.One load of washing done and hung up in the bedroom.I still need to check the house sale forms for the solicitor but I dont think it will get done tonight so hopefully after our friends have gone tomorrow. I wont have time to go to the PO tomorrow so not a problem. I will sen dspecial delivery on tuesday.I should have had a delivery of Bear calming tablets which havent arrived so I will chase them tmorrow evening if they still havent arrived. Fortunately I have plenty to be going on with.I will start my Christmas food and drink list in a few minutes so have a good evening.4 -

Evening allManaged to hoover while mr LH was getting up. Out to the station to pick up our friends and had a nice day with them before dropping them back at the station. Hopefully they will be able to visit again in the new year but it is a very long journey for them them.Heard from the estate agent while I was cooking dinner. The two developers (the one buying the house and the one developing the land) are having a meeting late afternoon on Wednesday presumably after the land developer has met with the water company. Please everyone keep your fingers crossed because if the meeting isnt helpful I am stuck with land that is useless because the land agents dont want me to to sell the house while things with the land are up in the air and there is no timetable for Southern water to dig their hole. Feeling quite down about the whole thing.I have sorted some more books to go to the charity shop tomorrow along with the towels I sorted out a while ago to go to the petshop for our local dog rescue.I now only have one item on ebay which for some reason doesnt finish until Wednesday and has a couple of watchers although I am not expecting it sell I will let it end properly. Then I will start relisting to end on either Christmas day or Boxing day.Have a good evening..3

Fingers crossed for you. Reserve feeling down until you know the outcome of Wednesday, and there's no reason it won't be a productive outcome as both these developers want to make their money!
And try not to feel down anyway, this is all very stressful but the roof over your head isn't dependent on it, so focus on enjoying the nice things available to you in the meantime x

Evening allI am feeling a little more positive today as I have been deluged with emails from the land developers and my solicitor who sees no reason why the contract on the house can't be signed. Of course there are still the meetings tomorrow so I will have to be patient and see what comes up at that. I did chuckle as when I sent the grumpy email to the land people I pointed out that council tax would become due in April and one of the mails from the solicitor said he had been contacted by the council saying they had received notification of the grant of propate and council tax would be due in 6 months. At least that proves I am on top of some things at least.
Out first thing to the PO with my parcel to find the queue stretched to the door. I stood for a while and then had to sit on the floor as my legs were hurting and starting to shake. A very kind lady brought me a chair that is used for people to sit on for passport photos and a man offered to help me up to sit on it. I was grateful and gradully shuffled it up to the counter. I should have gone there first just before 9am but I chose to drop the towels at the pet shop and the books att the charity shop first. I will have to go back in the morning to send some paperwork to the solicitor. I havent had chance to check it all yet but will do after I finsh this and it will be sent special delivery. Expensive but should be quicker.Council tax (ours) and water rates paid but nothing else of tnote.Have a ggod evening.2
