Great news on accepting the offer.  I hope that the sale proceeds smoothly and in a reasonable timeframe.

    Evening all

Not much to say as I was here this morning. Cleaned the kitchen paintwork but not much else acheieved. Mr LH had to take bear out on his own again as the rain was hammering down. When they got home the instruction from Mr LH was wring Bear out. He had a good rub down with a towel and he finished himself on the carpet.

Our friend came round which was lovely of her bearing in mind the weather. She was offered a lift home but refused.

I texted eldest dgd as they live in South Wales and having seen the news I was a bit worried about them. They are fine but have lost the garden gate. It could have been much worse like the poor people in Pontypridd.

I have had no sales this weekend but as there is nothing new listed I am not surprised. Everything will be taken off next weekend and I will start photographing for things to end over Christmas. It is too early to list but I can get a start.

Thats it for now Have a good evening.

Sainsbury trip this morning having watched last nights epiispde of Wolf Hall before going. I also popped to home bargains and treated myself to a new roasting tin. I have been looking for one that is not non stick and doesnt cost a fortune for a while. Got an eneamel one. Not sure whether it will be any good but worth a try.

It was sunny this morning but has been showery this afternoon but managed to get out with Bear on the scooter.

The friend that visited us yesterday rang with the news she has a hairline fracture in her foot. I told her yesterday I thought it was broken but she said two nurses has looked at it and said it was ok. She has been waalking on it for a week. Having done similar all I can say is ouch.

Not heard anything from the solicitor re the forms he is supposed to be sending me. If I dont hear tomorrow I will email and remind him. Slightly annoyed as what am I paying them for. I know I am not the only client but dont promise things and not do it.

Mr LH had a discussion about him overfilling the kettle at night after I have gone to bed. He says he doesnt but quite often I can make my morning tea with what he has left in the kettle after he has made night time coffee. It is something I am quite careful about as w do tend to drink a lot of tea and coffee.

I have just been outto put thr rubbish and recycling out and it is raining again Hopefully it will be dry by the time I take Bear out later.

    Have a good evening.

I think overfilling the kettle must be a man thing.  When DS has made a brew sometimes there is enough water left in there for me to do a hot water bottle.  I've given up.  I do put water in the hot kettle after it has been used so as not to waste the heat.  I shouldn't complain because at least he makes me several brews a day.

A quiet morning doing the minimum as I thought we were doing main shop followed by going to a different farm shop from where we got poor service or that should read no service. In the end we only did the main shop and will go to the farm shop tomorrow.

Nothing from the solicitor except the latest invoice. Funny those always arrive quickly.

Phoned my dd dsughter and had a long chat. We are going to see Mary Poppins on Thursday and apparently my sil will take us in the car which will make things easier. We will get the bus home to save him have to travel another 25miles to pick us up plus we are not sure where he will be able to stop to collect us as neither of us can remember which way the one way system is and the theatre is in a very busy part of the city.

I tried a friends mobility scooter when we were out with Bear and was was really surprised at how well hers went over the rough ground compared with mine which is not an off road one. When we eventually get some money I will buy an off road one. Hopefully a second hand one if I can find something suitable.

I spent ages this morning filling in an application for a blue badge which would make life much easier when we go out in the car. I dont think I will get one but if I dont ask I will never know.

Thats the excitement for today so have agood evening.

Have a lovely time at the theatre!

Definitely worth applying for the blue badge.

I think an off-road scooter could be a game changer for taking Bear out on his walks. It sounds like a sensible purchase when you are able & you might be able to part-ex your current one.

I do take my little scooter across the rough grass which isnt doing it much good so I doubt I will get much for it when I can buy a new one. An off road one would be much more comfortable and hopefully be able to cope with muddy ground which can be a problem. Bear walks beautifully with the scooter although he does still pull but as he is attached to the scooter not me I dont get my arm yanked about.
