  • Well done you for doing a hoover and sorting out paperwork, especially when feeling shoddy. Make sure you have a rest day tomorrow if you need it, one more day won't make a difference in the big scheme of things if you don't post those bits.
Can you definitely not email them, or have all the covid era 'making things easier' arrangements gone out the window now, to absolutely no-one's benefit 🙄

Thanks all. Yes I could email the paper work if I could get the scanner to talk to the computer. I am feeling much better today. More later.

PiP I did think of photographing them but it just seemed easier to go to the PO as I needed milk anyway.
I am not a technophobe just not very good with it. If someone shows me how to do things I am ok bu no good at working it out for myself.

    Evening all

Trip to PO as already said but on my way I decided to pop into Lidl which I always pass but rarely visit. I bought a couple of things for the freezer and also saw they have the gluwein that we like. I couldnt get any last year because they seemed to run out very early so mentioned it to Mr LH when he got up. We had already decided to go and look at the butcher at our local farm shop because I am fed up with the poor quality meat in the sm so decided to call in on the way home.

We bought a whole black pudding for Mr LH at the farm shop some of which will go in the freezer, plus some kidneys so I can do some steak and kidneys pies (I will make them how I usually do so we dont get a repeat of having to throw them away) and they had some bacon with rind. It was quite pricey but will hopefully taste better. I only got one pack as I have some stock sm stuff and as the farm shop isnt far away it wont be too much trouble to get more if he likes it.

12 bottles of gluwein bought on the way home. It has not been a no spend day and neither will tomorrow be as I have received a bill for the EPC for bils house. It is all  pointless as anyone looking at the house will realise it is not going to be good but it has to be done.

I have also received a quote for deep cleaning the house prior to it being put up for sale. It really does need it and there is no way I could do it so it will be money well spent. At least I feel things are moving. I just hope it sells quickly and the probate office acts quickly. .

I have had no sales this week but there are watchers on some items that end on Sunday so I live in hope.

Thats today mostly spent parting with money but some is essential and some will hopefully make Mr LH happy.

    Have a good evening.

I use hot water bottles to defrost my freezer & fridge.  There is no way I am standing to do it.  I am lucky that I seem to have acquired several cool boxes so there is not really any hurry to get the job done.
