Forgot to say Mr LH noticed the control for the heating had gone off due to a dead battery so he replaced that and we turned the heating on for 10mins just to check all is well and none of the radiators need bleeding. After that the house was getting very warm as we have not needed the heating yet.

Good that things are starting to progress now.

I like the Richard Osman books, I haven't read the last of the Thursday Murder club ones yet.

Unfortunately I cannot get to the library. It is a bus ride (no problem) but then a fair walk which I cant do.

That would suppose I let MR LH have money. :D:D Seriously He rarely has money as usually either I am with him or on the odd occasion he goes out alone he uses his debit card. In general the only time he has money is a little bit for his festivals which he rarely spends as they are completely non commercial with no food stalls or anything else.

    Evening all

I was woken this morning to the sound of the boiler firing up. Heating left on by Mr LH although he says it wasnt. Yesterday pm he turned it on for about half an hour and then turned it down. Obviously only to 19.5 as thats what it was reading when I looked. It is now turned down to 16 which is the temp I turn it on in the morning before he gets up.

Parcels taken to PO - only 3 today but there are another 4 to take tomorrow. Showers are threatened in the morning so I might have to use the bus. Lovely and sunny today. A carrier bag of books taken to the charity shop but I didnt stop to look as they were literally just opening.

Kitchen tidied when I got home after Mr LH had left a mess when straining the bottle of strawberrry vodka for a friends Christmas present. Does it really take 2 jugs, a cloth, a sieve and a tube? Plus there was a glass, a couple of mugs, a plate, a knife and fork and a chinese type chopper.

Tried to put yesterdays washing away but it wasnt quite dry so a job for tomorrow.

Another box emptied of saleable stuff with some that isnt selling put on one side to do a job lob lot. If that doesnt sell it will go to the charity shop. I am not being mean as a lot of it is things like small dishes and vases which are uneconomic to post. I also took some photos ready to list but I havent done that yet.

The probate application has gone in and the probate registry has acknowledged receipt. The solicitor say if he hasnt heard anything by mid February he will chase them. That seems a long time away. What do they do? Does anyone know? Shouldnt complain at least things are moving.

I have been invited for a lung function test but it isnt applicable to me as I dont and never have smoked. Its a shame though as it might give some answers about my breathing.

Thats i for today. Have a good evening.
