Good news about the no fees.  I should get on with some listings now!

They don't seem to be charging fees on things already listed either. I sold something that has been listed for a while and received the full amount.

You've probably already considered it but supermarket delivery?   One advantage to me is that it comes from a larger store to the one I visit so more things available.

I do feel your pain, although I have no mobility issues I'm just getting to grips with Sainsbury's then they moved all the frozen veg🙄

That's good too.  I'm just looking at the new simpler delivery thing too.  That might work ok for us as we use Evri anyway.

peb I have considered sm delivery but  first its the only time Mr LH goes out most weeks other than walking Bear, secondly Bear will probably terrify the delivery guy barking and 3 I prefer to pick my own meat, fruit and veg as some of it looks a bit fatty for Mr LH and he complains enough already.

    Evening all

Sorry if this one is moaning but I am feeling very down today. The insurance stuff for bils house has arrived and it is all wrong. They dont seem to have listened to the fact the house is empty and unoccupied so the details on the insurance are the same as last year. Will ring them tomorrow.  I have made an error on one of my parcels which will be a pain to sort out. I wrote to the solicitor over a week go with a couple of questions and have heard nothing back and I am being hassled by the land developers because they havent heard from him either. It just seems to be one thing after another and if I try to talk to Mr Lh either he doesn't listen, gets very negative about everything and although he never says it implies it is all my fault or starts telling me what I should do even when there is nothing I can do. Hopefully tomorrow will feel better.

On the good side 4 parcels posted, another one ready to go and bids on 7 items which finish Sunday or Monday. Even better the new recycling box has arrived at last so I am not struggling to get everything into one. Our council takes most things except soft plastics including small electricals, clothes and shoes.

A friend has just given me a huge amount of bubble wrap for my parcels. She persuaded an elctrical store to double or triple wrap her new washing machine. The only snag was she had just rammed it is a huge plastic bag so it was all twisted round and took ages to sort out and roll up. But hey free packing material cant be bad.

When we picked up the bubble wrap we were stood outside her house chatting and a friend of Bears came running up to see him. They were really good together which was nice to see. When I was putting the scooter away I met up with a very friendly chocolate lab (Bear had gone in the front door with Mr LH and the scooter lives in the garage at the back of the house) and had nice tickles with him and chatted to the owner for a couple of minutes. It was nice to chat with other owners as I dont often get the chance with Bear being very unpredictable with other dogs especially bigger ones.

I had made a cullen skink for dinner and Mr LH turned his nose up when I told him what he was having. Apparently he has gone off it. I despair! I seem to cook the same things every week and most of them are expensive. He is impossible to feed cheaply as he is so fussy.

Enough moans for one day. I hope your day has been good and you have a peaceful evening.

    Evening all

Today has been a better day. Insurance company sorted even if I did have to ring twice as the bereavement team doesnt start work until 9am and I rang when the letter said they opened at 8am. I have had 34 emaisl from the solicitor one of which was the news he can apply for probate as soon as he receives the form I have to sign. That will go special delivery tomorrow to ensure he gets it on Monday. Hooray perhaps things will start to move a bit now. Still going to be about 4 months excluding any major queries but I will be able to start the house selling process. I will give it a few days to ensure the probate application has gone in and we still have to get the EPC done but the estate agent will sort that for me and hopefully they will get their cleaning contractors to clean the house. I will ring them probably a week on Monday to start things off.

Mr LH has checked my scooter over as it was getting rattly. It is only a pavement scooter and I use it on the field when we walk Bear so screws have a habit of coming loose.

I wasnt going to the PO until Monday but due to the letter to the solicitor I will have to go tomorrw. I also have 3 parcels to post so the trip will be worthwhile.

Move some money to savings so I dont spend it. My pension is due on Monday so thta will top the current account up nicely for upcoming dds.

Some books have been sorted for the charity shop on Monday. Hard work as I had to move some heavy boxes to get some of them. I have finished "the book". Hooray! Even the end wasnt that exciting. I have now started a Clive Cussler although its not actually by him as he has died. The author that is continuing  the series is a bit different but I am still enjoying them. I will have a look in the sm tomorrow to see if the latest Richard Osman is in there. I know a lot of people dont like them but I find they are good bedtime reading as not complicated and I can dip in and out when I get tired. Of course this is the first of a new series so I will see.

MrLH was is bit more enthusiatic about pork chops for dinner and actually ate it all.

I think thats the lot for today. Oh no I cleaned the patio doors that go from the lounge to the conservatory including the frames. That was more than enough for one day.

    Have a good evening.
