Sounds like Bear was a good boy today. I'm sure you made the right decision about the field - I bet it would have been very, very muddy.2

Evening allI had to go to the PO this morning - What a surprise but this was to send the house keys for bils house to the estate agent. They sent me the paperwork I needed to sign and the link to download my ID. That was a faff as I had to down load an app, take a selfie (that caused some stress as I have never taken a selfie in my life) I did looked suitably grumpy in it, then scan my driving licence which it didnt like so had to repeat several times but all is now done unless the estate agent want something more.It was a good job I set off for the PO and my jabs early as the PO opened late so there was a long queue and only only one assistant. The jabs went fine but I am very weary tonight and my arms are a bit sore.id the weekly shop shop this afternoon and came very close to completely losing my temper with the cashier. I was the first in the queue when they opened a new till having waited ages while they found more staff.. First she couldnt open the barrier to open the till, then she moaned she didnt know how to alter her chair. She scanned one item twice but only noticed after I had packed it and then realised another item hadnt scanned at all again after I had packed it. Finally there was no receipt. At that point I gave up and left wondering if they bother to train staff and no she wasnt new as I have seen her before. I will avoid her like the plague in future. Home for a cup of tea and to calm down. I think we will be back at Tesco next week and hopethe chaos has calmned down a bit.Bear walked really nicely today attached to the scooter as usual. He was so busy sniffing at some grass that he nearly missed barking at another dog passing us very closely. He completely ignored the fact the council chap was on the big mower passing fairly close as he cut the grass on the green. We also got a bit closer to a greyhound that we see faily often first thing without going nuts. The owner knows the problems he has so is very good as is his dog.Right enough wittering for tonight. Have a good evening.8

Glad the house is progressing.
Shame you had a poor experience at the shop but I think we've all had those days where everything we touch goes wrong however well trained or experienced we are."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". You are right and I shouldn't have been so angry but she really didn't appear to know what she was doing. Not getting the receipt means I can't even check if there were any other errors.2

This is why I prefer to use a self checkout. I like to check the prices as they’re going through and can query anything that isn’t right before I pay.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I use the self checkout when I only have a few bits but yesterdays would have been too much. Sainsbury dont have them for bigger shops - yet.

Evening all.Today has been a very lazy day as I hardly slept last night. The jabs have left me feeling horrible and the sciatica was going full blast through my leg and further up. Every time I moved it was like have a knife through me. I think things are improving but am very tired. Hopefully tomorrow will be better as I have to go guess where? No I havent sold anything but having done the ID stuff they now want a death certificate and the part of his will showing I am the executor so will post them tomorrow. Is the paperwork ever going to end. My only consolation is that hopefully by next Christmas everything will be done assuming I can sell the house fairly quickly.Mr LH kindly took Bear for his walk today as I wasnt feeling too good and I had a quick hoover in the lounge. No money has been spent and the DWP have sent a letter telling me I wouldnt be getting a heating allowance this year. I had already worked that one out so rather a waste of two letters as Mr LH got one yesterday.I have been looking for an alternative high interest account for when my existing one ends but I think the one from my bank gives the best interest rate fixed for the year at 5.25% so that will be the best for now. When the house sells I will have to get some advice on what to do because I have no idea about larger investments. We will be spending a fair bit on the house but should still have a good amount to invest.I have sorted out some paperwork today which has been waiting for a while. I hate doing it but today was a good day to do it while I just wanted to sit. That sums up today Have a good evening.5
