    Sounds like Bear was a good boy today.  I'm sure you made the right decision about the field - I bet it would have been very, very muddy.
  • Does the electoral office issue ID? I know it does in NI so might be worth checking out where you are.

     Councils do something  for elections but I dont know if that works the rest of the time.

    Shame you had a poor experience at the shop but I think we've all had those days where everything we touch goes wrong however well trained or experienced we are.

    You are right and I shouldn't have been so angry but she really didn't appear to know what she was doing. Not getting the receipt means I can't even check if there were any other errors.

    This is why I prefer to use a self checkout. I like to check the prices as they’re going through and can query anything that isn’t right before I pay. 
    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    I use the self checkout when I only have a few bits but yesterdays would have been too much. Sainsbury dont have them for bigger shops - yet.
