Please go for your lung function test, not all damage is due to smoking
Mine is caused by a long ago job in a woollen mill and also by an allergy to perfume, hairspray and anything smelly.
Latest flare up was due to sitting beside 3 women on a train wearing perfume
I was once in one of those tunnels leading onto a plane when someone sprayed their duty free perfume and needed oxygen on the plane to breathe3 -
Probate often takes ages, hopefully it'll be sooner but if not it'll come round quickly anyway.
Is that the criteria for accessing the lung function test? Could you ask if you could have it anyway, being of a qualifying age and having breathing issues?2 -
I would look on the lung function test, unless they say not, in the same way I looked at mammograms and the like. It is a form of insurance. Have the test & everything is fine don't have the test & something comes back to bite you.

It is a study of some type. I did have a spirometry test last year which showed nothing. The problem was put down to being overweight but I think it is more to do with my myasthenia and poor muscle function.People do go a bit mad with perfume sometimes. They dont consider others who might have problems or just dont like the smell.5 -
Evening allBeen absent for a couple of days because really nothing happening. Usual dog walks. Some have been easier than other others and some have been excrutiatingly painful. There isnt even much doing on ebay. I have listed a couple of things which have sold almost immediately so a PO visit tomorow. Other than that reading, cleaning and TV has been my lot.Shopping this week was done at sainsbury and Aldi because I am refusing to use Tesco until they have finish their refit. Going round a supermarket is hard work enough without having to hunt for stuff and then having to go elsewhere because either they havent got it or I cant find it.Hopefully I will be feeling more like me tomorrow. Have a good evening.5

Don’t knock nothing happening, it’s a good thing in my opinion. I don’t know why shops try to keep open during a refit. It would be better if they just closed for a few days and got it over and done with.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Evening all3 loads of washing done today including the quilted bedspread from my bed. The bedroom now looks like a laundry although I am hoping some of it will be dry before bedtime.A little bit of stuff listed.I will be glad when it is all done but there is still a fair bit to do and then a friend is threatening to give me some stuff to sell. She cant be bothered but wants it out of the house. I have suggested the charity shop but she is determined I should have it.Bear saw two of his friends today while we were out today and behaved really well while we chatted to their owners. He can be such a good boy but then he spoils it by going nuts at another dog.
Lots of silly bits and pieces done so feeling a bit tired tonight.
I packed two parcels today ready for the morning but I have also sold 4 more things which will need packing in the morning. I cant do it tonight as the sound of the sticky tape annoys MR LH while he is watching TV. It can be very loud and it affects his tinnitus so he is not just being awkward.Roast chicken dinner cooked, eaten and cleared away.I staeted a new book but after half a dozen pages I dint like it and having just waded through one I didnt enjoy I have put it away for another time and swapped it for a James Patterson.I think thats my day done. Have a good evening.7 -
Evening allI ended up with 6 parcels today so couldnt use the scooter.as two of them were big ones. I can only get one in a carrier bag which goes between my feet and one in the basket at the front. Then I found it was raining anyway so the bus it was. Popped into the sm as I went past but didn't get to Aldi as I had had enough by that time. It isnt much further but I just wanted to sit down with a cuppa. We were going to take Bear to the field today and I had booked and paid for it but judging by the puddles first thing it would have been very muddy. It was a bit muddy when we took him on the green where we usually walk so the field would have been horrible and as the ground is very uneven I would probably have ended up flat on my face in the mud. He walked quite nicely and didnt even complain at a couple of workmen in high viz although did get a bit stressed when we saw a postman but no barking which was good. It was just a waste of £8 for the field when the weather forcast gave today as going to be dry - it wasnt!I have been in touch with the estate agent so that is work in progress now. I have to sign forms, send a copy of my BiLs will showing the part that proves I am the only executor and at some point they want ID. Its a good job I still have my driving licence although I no longer drive. I had to promise the consultant I wouldnt so he didnt inform DVLA about the myasthenia. Some people get to keep their licence but not everyone. I would have had to get a passport unless they would have accepted my bus pass which some do. ID is very difficult in this country if you dont drive or travel. A voluntary government ID card would be a good idea especially as you now need ID to vote. I have to send them keys for the house and let them know what the alarm code is. The keys can go tomorrow as I have my flu and covid jabs in the morning. Mr LH wont have them at all since the nurse hit a nerve several years ago as he swears it was deliberate after he told her off for cycling on a narrow pavement past us with 3 dogs. I am not even having it at the gp but at our local pharmacy which is much more convenient. No listing done today as I had parcels to wrap this morning. I dont wrap things until I have been paid.Nothing else exciting I dont think. All going ok with money and savings are doing ok. My high interest account is due to end soon so I must keep and eye on it.Have a good evening4
