£5.00 pay out from surveys today. Not feeling brillant at the moment but dont know why. It could be the heat affecting my Myasthenia or still suffering from when I banged my head a couple of weeks ago. I am absolutely exhausted and am finding doing anything really tough. My brain wants to do things but my body says not a chance. I know the temperature has dropped but the house is still too warm for me despite open doors and windows.I did do some ironing this morning and have watered the garden this evening. Unfortunately Mr LH does not see a problem so I am still trying to do everything. He will do ithings if I ask sometimes but it is easier to do it myself rather than than constantly have to give instructions. He also claims he cant cook but the washing up I am left overnight belies this statement. We have found some ripe blackberries and there is now small tub in the freezer ready for blackberry vodka when there are enough. There are loads on the bushes just waiting to ripen. Not money saving but it does taste good. We will also do a bottle as a Christmas gift for a friend along with mince pies and I am planning on making her and her partner face cloth dogs. I used to sell these and other stuff at craft fairs but had to stop when I was forced to stop driving.A no spend day and bacon and kidney for dinner for Mr LH and a mushroom and tomato omeltette for me so fairly economical. Our gas and electril bill is in my box so I am going to look at them in a minute when I have caught up with diaries.2

Apologies for the gloomy post yesterday. The electric bill was only a pound more than last month which I was quite pleased with a we have been running the fan a lot during the hot weather. The gas was less but as it is only heating and hot water we have used very little.I have had another tiny sale on ebay which was a nice surprise when I got up this morning. I will post in the morning and get some of the last bits for Mr LH going away. He will take me shopping on tuesday as usual for the heavy stuff. We had rain overnight. That is the first for ages but dry again today and too warm for me.We are becoming very worried about Mr H as his back legs keep giving way. We have talked to the vet about it but as we have very little trust in them we are going to seek advice from a different one when Mr LH comes home. They have no permanent vets so every time you go there is a different one and the each have their own ideas so we end up with mixed advice. Its a shame because we have used them for the last 14 years but they changed hands a couple of years ago. It is too far for me to walk him to the one we have been reccomended to and he may be going to the festival with MrLH.We know he has arthritis but watching him collapse is worrying and the vets are not being helpful.2
-
Sorry to hear that about Mr H. Hopefully something that can be sorted and you get some decent advice. A few years ago a vet told me my elderly cat had a tumour and wanted to operate at a cost of £1,000, he was 15 so I declined. He went on for another 6 years and another vet said he didn’t have a tumour.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

It's such a worry when our pets aren't doing well. I was really worried about eldest black cat in the heat, but it seems he preferred to be outside in a shady spot to being indoors. He managed to wheedle plenty of dreamies from me as I tried to coax him indoors.2
-
Thanks SA and Blackcats yes he is a worry. I will ring the new vet later this week and hope I can get him registered and booked in for early next week. With a lot of pushing and pulling we have managed to move the trailer tent. It had to go round the end of a small wall and only just fit through the gap between that and the edge of the pond. I now have it right outside the conservatory winow so a great view. It is only fit to scrap but as it wont go through the gate and Mr LH broke the door at the garden end of the garage it will have to be dismantled so heaven alone knows how long it will sit there. Meanwhile i have lost most of the sunny part of the garden. I am hoping that for once he will get on and do something. Nagging doesnt work as he just gets stroppy so I am a bit worried about the future of the garden.Went to the PO to post the parcel only to find I hadnt picked it up and it was still on the table so I will have to go in the morning. I did most of the shopping but as it was heavy I will pick up bread and milk while I am out in the morning. My brain will never save my legs.Nothing else to report today and as I have been screened out of all the available surveys that has not gone well.
Have a good evening2 -
The above was written yesterday but for some reason (going senile?) I didnt post it.PO and last bits of shopping for MR LH this morning. Usual dog walks though cut short as it was a bit warm for them.MR LH is driving me mad. He gets very stressed before he goes away and becomes picky and bad tempered. This afternoon he asked if I had bought fruit juice for him to take away. I hadnt as there were some in the cupboard but apparently he had thrown them away because they were out of date. He didnt tell me or add to the shopping list which is always in the kitchen so I can add to it as needed. Tonight I have walked to Sain***** and back for him to tell me he had found some in the cupboard - I know my fault for not checking. While I was out I got him a half bottle of champagne to go with his steak tomorrow night as it is his birthday. We dont do cards or presents as a rule but as he is away I thought I would treat him. Not sure he deserves it but never mind.Nothing else to say except I am shattered and it my turn to walk Mr H tonight which I ccould do without but as he is going with Mr LH I cant reaalyy get out of it.2

Today has been a good day. The fencers are coming on Friday. Hooray! The only snag is Mr LH went off to his festival today so I am left with moving everything for them. Some is already done and I will move the rest tomorrow. Then when the post came there was an appointment for the hospital on the 5th August. I have been waiting for this since I was supposed to be referred in November 2018. I found out about 9 months lter the referral hadnt been done so my nuerologist did it. I have been waiting ever since. I am not sure if they will do anything but at least I will know,.Other than moving stuff I spent time getting Mr LH off on his travels and he let me know he had arrived safely his afternoon. He has taken Mr H with him and I have the little one who doesnt seem too happy. I think she is missing them already.I am now going to have a peaceful evening in front of the TV.

Forgot to say I put a £15.00 payment into the loan account this morning which is the first for a couple of weeks. I think I am still on track for the end of the year. Also my oldest grandaughter has covid. She is quite annoyed as they have been forced back into the office (her partner works for the same company) and stupidly they both forgot their masks last Monday. Several other staff members have also got it presumably from the same source. Fortunately she is ok and is working from home for the time being.2
