Evening allPoor Bear didnt get out to the secure field yesterday as it was very wet so Mr Lh took him instead and left me at home so we didnt both get soaked. . Luckily we had a dry spell so made a mad dash to the tip to empty the car. The men there were very attentive to everyone and there were loads of them about. Now they are usually helpful if you ask but they were practically unloading cars for everyone. Then we realised there were people in collars and ties being shown around - obviously management of some kind and the staff were out to impress.Today I sorted my gardening shed out so I can get to stuff now. When it was time for Bears walk I went for my first trip on my scooter. It made things much easier for me and Bear was very good with it. I did try to get him to walk with me a little way but although he sat by it he was too near and I was worried I was going to run over his paws so returned the lead to Mr LH. We will keep trying and hopefully he will get it.Had a couple of small sales today so a trip to the PO tomorrow. Before my biL died he had a roofer coming to do some work which was cancelled but as we noticed some damp we have got him to come and do the work unfortunately while he was up there today he noticed some other work that needed doing. He sent some photos and yes it does need to be done. Bils neighbour is overseeing the work for me but it is going to cost an extra £1200. I will write to the solicitor and see if the money can come from the estate or whether it is on me. I can find the money but not really what I wanted especially if the house clearance is as much as the first men say it will be. I have two more companies coming on the 30th so I will be sure that whatever I have to pay will be reasonable.I know waste disposal is pricey these days but when I am told none of the furniture is any use I get a bit suspicious as I am sure some of it can go to charities. I have no problem with that and one of the companies has said they do work with charities that help people who have nothing or very little.Shopping done this afternoon and certainly didnt feel as exhausted as usual afterwards thanks to using the scooter.I nust go and look for some more bits to list before it gets too dark to do photos.Have a good evening.5

Evenimg allNot an exciting day - are any of mine?Trip to the PO completed and I hate to complain about the weatther after the year we have had but it is too warm for me so not really is a good way. Out with Bear and while we were on the field I walked Bear a little way while I was on my scooter. He is adapting better than I expected and being very good. I wouldnt like to walk on the pavement yet but I think we will get there. He tends to walk better for me than Mr LH because I have the patience to stand and wait until he lets the lead go slack. He wont wait long enough.A couple of sales today so all good and more listing done. The roof repairs at bils are going well and the first lot is complete. There was a tile missing above a solar panel which is why there was damp coming through the ceiling. The second scaffold should go up tomorrow so will be done fairly soon and at least I will have invoices to show prospective buyers when the time comes.Mpthing else to report and noff to take Bear out before sewing bee.Have a good evening.4

I don't think any of us have exciting days most of the time!
