You are doing really well with all these sales. Also good news you’ll have a mobility scooter as your disposal to get you around. I’ve never heard of ordnance but glad you got it sorted.
Ordnance is just a name for military supplies. I wasn't sure how to describe them as too big for bullets and too small for mortars. Sorry if you were confused.

You're making great progress.  Good to get the ordnance off your hands!

    Evening all.

Parcels posted this morning and prescription collected. Missed the bus home so treated myself to a taxi as my legs are not good today. Mr LH has struggled all day to put the scooter back together and cleaning it to find the bearings in tn one of the wheels are shot. It wont come out so we will have to try to get a whole new wheel. As its quite old I dont know if its possible. Not sure when or even if I will ever be able to use it. A bit disappointing as it would make life easier.

I have managed to find homes for some more stuff we have brought home so we have about half a conservatory - the scooter is in there at the moment.

We made a trip to the tip today to get rid of two non working printers and some other stuff.

I had a form to print out from the solicitor which printed beautifully and quickly from the new printer. What a relief. Strange we didnt need a new one until Mr LH couldnt print something he wanted despite me struggling since April.

Very annoyed with myself as I dropped a glass this evening. Why does glass go so far when it breaks. I just hope I found it all.

Another 4 items listed tonight and one item sold.

Off now to relax a little before watching sewing bee. Have a good evening.

Glass is horrid when it breaks.

Happy new printer.  It's a shame you had to wait so long.  I agree about glass getting everywhere.

Don't know if this will be any help but to check for and pick up any missed bits, you could cut a potato in half and carefully dab the area where glass shattered--bearing in mind how far broken glass travels. You can also use slices of bread or dampened kitchen roll. If you used a brush, make sure you swill it out so any trapped glass doesn't drop back on floor when you use it again.

Thank you. I have never heard of using a potato to find bits of glass. I have washed out the brush but I mainly used an old dishcloth and threw it away afterwards.

I have been in touch with another company and will see what they say. I know that commercial waste disposal is pricey and that it is a big house but it does seem rather a lot. I am giving it a couple of weeks though as I have been sown 3 times in 2 and a half weeks and need a break.
