    Evening all
I am still recovering from my last visit to bils but at least I could make most of the way on Bears walk today. I dont really feel the effects of doing too much until the following days so it makes it hard to judge. I will be very careful tomorrow and Tuesday. We are not leaving until early afternoon and will leave probably late morning on Tuesday. The stairlift shouldnt take to long to remove and my sil is very willing to help.

I have decided that sil and I will eat out tomorrow night. Not at all money saving but easy on me and I havent been out for a meal for literally years as mr LH wont eat out so it will be a treat.

I have spent the last couple of days listing stuff and moving boxes so they are at least out of the way. The floor in the conservatory is almost clear now howevr my bedroom is now a storage facility. I washed a candlewick bedspread ready to sell, hung it outside overnight  only to find it had rained overnight :o. The downstairs has been dusted and hoovered. The part we had to order for the new vacuum arrived today so very soon I will have an upstairs cleaner. Not sure where I am going to put it though.

Mr LH has been nagging me to use his posh 35ml camera for listing purposes and he took a photo to show how good it is. This morning I took one of the same item and at the same angle with my old compact point and shoot camera and he had to admit it was as good if not better than his. :D

Roast Chicken dinner cooked and put away. Th carcass is stripped so he can have some of it for dinner tomorrow. Bag is semi packed for  tomorrow and a parcel packed for something I sold today. That my day. I hope you had a good one and perhaps more exciting than mine.

I think you deserve that meal out after all you’ve done. You’ve worked so hard.

  • A meal out after yet another incredibly busy day is the least you deserve!

Your camera anecdote has made me grin

Thank you all for your good wishes. The journey to Southampton was very slow but much better coming home. The meal out was really nice and made a lovely change. I have brought home a few more bits  and we found a table from the nest of tables that my dd wanted We couldnt find it anywhere but I had put a box on it and only spotted it when I moved the box. The stairlift has been removed from the house so progress is being made slowly.
I have heard from the solicitor that he has been sent a bill from the gas company re home care. They were charging my bil nearly £800 a year for homecare which I really dont get as when I looked on their website the most expensive was contract is £27 a month.I know this may be a 1st year price but who are they kidding  Is this a case of lets rob the old man because he doesnt check the price of things. Suffice it tosayt will be cancelled tomorrow.

We were homein time to take Bear for his lunchtime walk as I didnt want to keep my sil from home any longer than needed as he is going to Silverstone tomorrow for the rest of the week.

A few more listing done this evening and I have had a couple of sales. so another trip to the PO so imay shop in the morning and use a taxi home. This is not an money saving week.

I hope you have all had a good day and will have a good evening.

That's brilliant progress, hopefully the stairlift being removed will make things easier.
    Disgusting from the gas company.
Very pleased you enjoyed your meal out 😊
