Evening all. This will be a very short post as I have spent much of the day asleep. I dont know if the car stress being sorted or the heat. I just hope I can sleep tonight.I have emailed the stairlift people and they say it will probably be the w/c 1st or 8th July. I am wondering if I caan combine it with the man who will buy some furniture. It will depend on the appointment time or I may stay over.I have realised that Bears tag has our landline number on it and as he is coming to bils on Tuesaday/Wednesday (we are staying overnight) so not much help so will pop out in the morning to our local T******s to see if they can either engrave a tag for him or find something suitable as an alternative. With his history of going walkabout I am concerned if he diappeared down there we would never get him back. I think he will spnd much of the time attached to something strong by his long line. Not ideal but better for him than kennels as that would bringback nasty memories for him.Right thats my acheivements for the day. I hope yours has been more productive. Have a good evening.5

Evening allThe heat is really getting to me and I am wishing we werent going to bils to start clearing the house. If it was just Mr LH and me we would postpone but sil and dd have rented a van and arranged time off from work so it has to go ahead. I am not sure how much use I will be as breathing is awful.Laundry put away and I have found bedding and some other stuff to take with us. Mr LH has washed the car but very little else achieved by either of us.Dd and I went to the theatre last night to see a show of songs from various musicals which was enjoyable and sil took us there and back. A lovely evening but they came back for coffee and didnt go until midnight so still tired from that. It was great to see them but I am usually in bed before 11. Unfortunately it doesnt matter what time I go to sleep ( it was nearly 2am this morning) I still wake between 6 and 7 and cant go back to sleep. Roll on bedtime.I have picked more strwberries this evening and watered the garden. Some admin done and more letters to post in the morning.Bear has had his usual walks and I did get a dog tag for him with my mobile number on it and Bil address.I enjoyed the Strike book and will keep my eyes open for more.Roast pork dinner cooked and eaten with plenty left for tomorrow,No money spent and thats me for the day.
Have a good evening.3 -

Evening allHad a small sale last night and that posted aling with other letters and voting forms for the election. Most of the morning has been sorting stuff to take tomorrow. Mr LH has had the air con on the car sorted which is a great relief as I will have to travel in the back to keep Bear calm and I am sure he will appreciate not being roasted. We have never done a long journey with him so it will be a new experience.. He is going for a run in the secure field before we go so hopefully hhe will be a little tired.Bears new tag put on his collar so he is all ready. Car is partially loaded, garden given a good soaking even though much of it has been neglected recently. Rubbish bin and recycling put out for tomorrow morning. and I think thats the lot.I have got a Chinese meal from the sm for us tomorrow evening as it is easy to do. Not cheap but sometimes its worth it. My overnight oats done for tomorrow and Wednesday. I am trying to make everything as easy as possible so we have the maximum time there to do stuff.I think thats it for today. Oh no we have been having trouble with the sliding door from the lounge to the conservatory and today it jammed and wouldnt close. We thought we would have to get someone to come and fix it but Mr LH managed to find the problem and sort it. So money saved there and when the post came my attendance allowance application has been accepted again so that is a concern out of the way. I will be able to use taxis as needed and get equipment as I need it.Thats definitely enough for now. Have a good evening.4

Glad the attendance allowance is all sorted and okay.
You sound like you've thought of all the necessaries so fingers crossed the travelling and clearing all goes as smoothly as possible. You are being such a trooper, I hope you've got a little treat lined up for yourself once this is all eventually done x2 -
