I wish I did acheive a lot. I seem to spend a lot of time sitting around without the enrgy to move. I know it sounds pathetic but thats how it is.

I do ask himto do simple things but while he says yes he will do it doesnt happen so I then the choice of an argument about nagging or I do it myself. Guess which happens. An example - he bought some new wheel trims for the car as we lost one when someone forced him into the kerb about three weeks ago. they are stil in the box and when asked if he was putting them on I got a very snappy yeees!

    Evening all

Other half finished the new garden storage box yesterday and dismantled the old one that was beyond repair. Another small sale which will be posted tomorrow.

Today I was up at 04.30 to catch the early train to bils. Bought my ticket from the ticket machine but it only printed the one for the outward journey. Spoke to ticket collector on the way home and they were happy I had paid ok. Packed up a lot more stuff to come home and moved loads into one of the bedrooms for house clearance people when we get to that. What worries me most is the 6 bookcases that are still full of books. Some are in no condition to sell but many are  I have done my best to bring some home over the years but they are heavy so I couldnt manage many at once.

I am sheyyered now so will finish here. Have a good evening/

When we were clearing the house, we got a book dealer in to buy a lot of the books.  I don't know how prevalent they are any more but it might be an option if there is a 2nd hand book shop in the area.  You obviously won't get as much as selling yourself, but you could always pick out the best ones in advance.

My bil had someone in to look at them but they declined them so I am not hopeful. The chap that looked at the furniture says he knows someone so will bring them when we get to the stage of moving the furniture out. I need to get rid of the stairlift first as the stairs are quite narrow anyway but that is underway and will hopefully be done in the very near future.
