Evening allToday was going to be a day of doing very little. It started well then someone enquired about something I had on the well know market place. They came for that then someone else enquired and asked about it. I explained it had been sold but I had a similar item if they were interested. This was followed by umpteen meassages asking for photos and asking the same question several times anyway they did come for it so I am now £30 to the good.Almost as soon as they left my phone went and it was the police wanting to come for a statement re the man that was folliwing me last weekend. Statement given and then it was time for a nap as I was shattered having walked Bear on my own as mr LH was setting up the item so they could see it working. Just cooked a roast chicken dinner and cleared away, watered the greenhouse plants and not planning on doing much else except settling down with a book.
Have a good evening.5 -

Evening allI got up this morning full of good intentions but sadly have done very little. 1 load of washing done and hung to dry. As everything is dried indoors it takes 24 hours minimum so will be put awaay tomorrow. More stuffing from Bears toys collected and put in the bin. In some ways they are a waste of money but he does enjoy destroying them. First thing this morning he came up the garden path with a dead fish from the pond. It had been torn open and the ones in the pond were all hiding, We arent sure how either a heron or a cat got into the pond which is netted so Mr LH has set up one of the trail cameras which we brought home from my bil to see if we can catch whatever it is and then make suitable arrngements to increase the security. We are certain its not Bear as he wouldnt be quick enough to catch them and he has never shown shown any interest in them.We did the weekly shop this aftenoon as MrLH will be spending tomorrow getting his stuff ready to go away to his festival on Wednesday. A peasceful few days for me
:smile. A large sm bill today as there was a fair bit of alcohol for him to take away.
Nothing else to report today so have a nice evening.4 -

Evening allA few days peace will be good but thedownside is have to do Bears walks on ,my own which will be hard as I struggle for breath after about a third of his walk. They may be a bit shorter than usual for a few days.Opened the curtains this morning to find a heron on the patio. That answers that question. We think it has had a few fish so have now covered the pond with another net in addition to the existing one.Out early this morning to go to the PO to post a parcel, my AA form and bils emergency alarm unit. I got quite wet waiting at the bus stop and walking to and from the PO. It had largely stopped raining when I got off the bus near.home so a dry walk for the last bit. Dont tell anyone I got another book as there was a James Patterson Private series book in the charity shop. Spent the rest of the morning baking mince pies (dont laugh) and a strawberry cake for Mr LH to take tomorrow for the stewards and musicians.By the time we took bear out my legs were very sore from standing baking so painkillers taken (I rarely take them during the day but they did help) and then Mr LH decided that a trip to the well known car parts shop was needed so out to do that. Missed my nap as he was fiddling about when we got back and that usually involves me somewhere along the line. To be fair this time it didnt but we have just been out in the drizzle to get 3 items from the garage for him to take. I am not sure why that has to involve me but it did.Another form from the solicitor to sign which will involve a trip to the sm as the nearest post box is there and it has to be a hard copy as it is for HMRC. I will see how I feel when Mr LH goes tomorrow otherwise it will have to wait for Thursaday.Thats been my day. Have a good evening

We have lost a lot of fish to herons 😞 We have a decoy heron which seems to have worked but you have to keep moving it or they know it’s fake 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Evebning allThe double netting seems to be working on the pond so happy with that. Out this morning to post the form for HMRC via the solicitor. The final house valuation is in and they are all pretty similar so that is good. I have had an offer via one of the estate agents for the house. As the garden is large it is from a developer who wants to put a second house in the garden. I havent given an answer yet as the offer was at the low end of the valuations but it is a cash offer and they know we are not at the probate stage yet. I hate making this sort of decisions in case i get it wrong.I have spent some of the day cleaning the conservatory including inside the roof. I was going to finish it after dinner but when I started felt so exhausted I was worried I wa going to fall off the ladder so I gave up and will have to do it in the morning. It is very annoying when I try to do things and my body says no you arent doing that. I have to spread things out in the morning especially as I am now doing Bears lunchtime walk while Mr LH is away. I always go with them but he takes Bear for most of it so I am not being pulled too much. Bear can walk really well on the lead but he is so alert to his surroundings he just constantly wants to get on so he feels safe.Nothingelse happening here so have a good evening.5
