If that was aimed at me Beanie I am really sorry but the thought of blood going in the post is a worry. I am prepared to bet that doctors are not permitted to do that. You know how things get thrown around in sorting offices. Yes I do know I am paranoid but sometimes they are out to get you.

Unfortunately our vet changed hands a couple of years ago and although they are not part of a group they are not as they were and are much more money grabbing. Yes blood and other bodily fluids can be sent through the post but have to use special packaging and cannot be more than 50 mls. This sample has, I understand, got to go to the government lab for testing. Hence the cost.Evening allI actually had a morning at home today so did some jobs around the house and photographed more stuuf. My cameras memory card is full so I need to delete stuff as I sell it. I have had a couple more sales so those and yesterdays will be posted tomorrow. They are packed so will only need addressing in the morning. Fortunatlry they are very different sizes so I cant mix them up.I have been spending some time concentrating on trying to stop Bear from pulling on the lead. For dog owners if I say he has the intelligence of a border collie and the ears and stubborness of a terrier you will know what I mean. He doesnt hear/listen when he doesnt want to but I think he knows exactly what he is doing so it is going to be a real battle between him and me.Hooray no money spent today and the solicitor has agreed that the roof repairs should be paid from the estate as the first lot was arrenged by my bil and the second lot was to stop water coming into the house so I should get that back at some point.Nothing else for today so have a good evening.5

Evening all.Been awol for a few days as I have not been feeling great and yesterday and today I have been at bils. In view of the very hot weather the trip has been a blessing as being an old house it has been much less warm there than here and because we were bringing a second scooter home my sil collected me, the scooter and what will probably be the last load other than a few bits in a van with lovely air con. I do not do well in hot weather and cant wait for it to be cooler. Sorry sun worshipers.
My trip was mainly to sort out someone to do the house clearance. You may remember I had a quote for 2500 last time I was there. I can now top that with one quote of £4500!!! Plus a second one of £780. Guess which one I am planning on going with. Not only was that the cheapest by far but the guy that came to the house was far more professional and had his waste paperwork with him. He explained that he sells as much as he can from clearances as he has a large warehouse so does the clearance at cost makig his profit from the sales. On Monday we took Bear to his field but as it was so hot he only had about 15 minutes run. We then took a rather ineteresting book of military type photos that we found to an auction house that has militaria sales . They are suggesting a pre sale estmate of £100 - £150.00 so if it sells we are happy with that. I have put a £100 reserve on it as it is pretty unique so dont want to let it go for peanuts. I have a load of stuff to try to find homes for tomorrow as the conservatory id full again. I had made a bit of space before i went away and one bos is full of newspapers that I use for packing.Bear was very pleased to see me when I got home and even sat on my lap for a short while. Just what you need in the heat. Anywa time to take him out. Have a good evening.6 -
Glad you finally got a reasonable quote for the clearance!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
