Another sending good wishes for tomorrow, hope it all goes smoothly and quickly. Make sure to take good care of yourself after for a couple of days at least, even when things are beneficial and straightforward it's still a bit of a shock to the system so don't rush back into your usual productivity if you'd be better off with your feet up!1

Evening all.As I surmised missing in action yesterday as I was feeling a bit yuk and very tired. I dont know what was going on at the hospital but despite everyones appointment being at 12.30pm they didnt even start the operations until gone 2pm and then for some reason brought people up for theirs from the floor below. I along with the others in my group have to have senior drs/ consultants do the ops due to other health conditions. Anyway I went in about 3.25pm. I got back into the waiting room to be told they hadnt got my eye drops and would have to get them from the pharmacy. They didnt know how long it would so I waited until about 4.20 and then asked how much longer they would take so the sent the HCA to get them. Wouldnt you know it they came back wrong. I am not sure what the problem was but they talked to the consultant who said to go back to tthe pharmacy but it had closed by then. They gave me the original ones with the instruction to stop them if I got a reaction but didnt offer what I should do then. By that time I had had enough and just left it thinking if there was a problem I would ring them plus I knew my friends who were picking me up had been waiting for some time. I eventually got home about 5.45 feeling somewhat annoyed (I am not the most patient person) at all the messing about, in pain and very weary.. When my first eye was done at the same hospital I was only there a couple of hours. Anyway its done now.I felt pretty grotty this morning but after a nap both morning and this afternoon felt a bit better although I am getting tired very quickly when I do anything so lots of sitting around. My eye seems fine and when I looked down the road this morning could see really well with both eyes and havent had any pain since yesterday evening. I did take ibuprofen and paracetamol last night hoping to have a good night with no pain - no pain but not a lot of sleep either. I have managed to hoover upstairs but that was my limit other than the usual cooking, washing up etc. I did take Bear out this morning feeling a bit silly as it was raining and I needed to wear sunglasses to stop the glare but Mr LH took him out at lunchtime.I have done some surveys this evening so hopefully will get a payout soon and the new net curtains have arrived. I havent put them up yet as that would have been very silly in the circumstances especially as I want to clean the frame and windows and wash the curtains and I do have some sense. No money spent. All veg cooked in the same pan this evening to save the electricity. No heating until this evening and have felt chilly all day despite my blanket so possibly as a result of yesterday.Seedlings watered and I have some tiny courgettes just peeping through. I am making no plans for tomorrow as it depends how I feel.Meals today. Breakfast - oats and fruit, lunch salad, scrambled egg and b&b, dinner pork chops runner beans, broccoli and carrots. Snacks a slice of b&b, yoghurt and a few grapes.3
