It's just another stealth tax that no one can avoid unless they live completely off grid.
I used to be very active. At one time I was helping my mum, helping dd with dgd , working full time , doing overtime, studying for a degree with the OU and doing another uni course which was worth half a degree plus of course looking after our house. Fortunately that didn't last too long or I would have collapsed. Even after my degree, my dd didn't need so much help and my mum died I was still doing a lot of overtime which possibly all contributed to my health going downhill. I have in recent years had no energy or inclination to do much so to get a bit of mojo back is good. I just hope it continues.3 -
MIA yesterday as it was our wedding anniversary so it seemed a bit rude to be on the computer. By the time I realised Mr SA was fast asleep in his chair it was a bit late to start. A little bit more cleaning done and a decision made to get a new net curtain for the lounge window as the dog we had for a very short time destroyed one side of it so I cut it down but it looks a but weird and I noticed Bear has put a hole in it when a cat dared to walk across our front lawn. I wouldnt have one but we are very close to the footpath in front of the house. Now I have to measure the window and order it.Dd and sil called in unexpectedly yesterday just coming up to dinner time so was still clearing up at 8pm. It was nice to see them but I wish they had come earlier.
Will finish here as Bear is nagging me to come and play.Meals; Breakfast - oats and fruit, lunch salad, scrambled egg, b&b, dinner - steak, mushrooms, tomato, onions and peas. Snacks banana and grapes.Have a good Sunday.3 -

Evening all. I have had a day off from cleaning today so planted some courgette seeds in my propogator and put the leeks I have grown into bigger pots. I have got more pots out of what we call the shed ready for some tomatoes possibly tomorrow. I am hoping for dry weather tomorrow so I can clear all the moss, grass etc that the birds have thrown on our conservatory roof and also clear the gutter as I would assume that its pretty full. I also need to go and get some milk and Mr LHs cigarettes. Nothing else for now except -Meals; breakfast - oats and fruit, lunch scrambled egg, salad and b & b, dinner roast chicken -cauliflower, broccoli & carrots. Snacks some grapes, banana and a couple of spoons of yoghurt.Off now to watch the rest of pottery throw down. Have a good evening.1

Goo evening. The supermarket trip was hard this morning as it seemed that their were hot cross buns everywhere I looked all in packs of 6. Managed to resist but somehow fruit does not have the same satisfaction even when I enjoy it. Milk bought and the cigs for Mr LH.I started to clear the moss etc on the conservatory roof but gave up as I didnt have the longer ladder downstairs and didnt want to wake Mr LH bringing it down. It was also bitterly cold and quite windy but I di find there was very little in the gutter so leaving it a bit longer is not going to make much difference. I also didnt do the tomatoes as it was so cold.A friend dropped in for coffee and a natter. Her partner is very kindly picking me up from the hospital after my cataract op. on Friday as we would have to pay the clean air charge. She is coming to so she can have a look round Primani which he finds "thrilling". I have told her I will ask to go first but she said go last. In fact I wont get a choice if its like when I had the other eye done.Nothing happening with finances and staying on budget. Big shop tomorrow so am off to make a list. Have a good evening.1
