I might try and look at vigil.  It's looked good from the adverts.

I only suggested both series as the first one introduces the main characters plus they are both really good.

I think Mr lh is , at last, improving. I am ready to cause serious harm with trying to feed him as I am sure he is going through what we have in and looking for whats not there and wanting it. I think I have been to the sm everyday this week but this evening he has at least had a small meal and came with me for part of Bears lunchtime walk.

I have spoken to my friend from Scotland and we are meeting on Monday to make sure I am not still infectious. It will be good to see her.

The food shop for Christmas is making progress as I am not sure if I will have transport next week so I am getting a few bits every time I go out.  I dont think there is anything else tonight as I am not doing much with having to shop so often and running around after Mr LH not to mention walking Bear who still pulls like a tractor although he does know how to walk properly but enthusiasm takes over.

Hope my readers are all fit and well.

Glad MrLH is gradually getting better.  Must be very frustrating having to shop for his daily meal choices.

It never rains but it pours. Just as mr lh is getting better Bear is poorly. He is not eating but is chomping grass down. He woke me at 3.30am and wouldnt settle again. By 7.30am he and I been out for a walk 3 times for him to find the correct type of grass. I have to confess I have slept for most of the morning to catch up a bit (I dont usually get to sleep much before midnight). While we were out for his walk at lunchtime I remembered I have some gastro intesinal food so tried him on that and he had a couple of spoonfuls on our return. For his tea he had some more with a small handful of his kibble. He is sleeping a lot but I would expect that. Hopefully he will be feeling better tomorrow and not wake me before the crack of dawn or need a vet visit on Monday.

I have spent nothing today but mr lh has bought some oil for the car to do an oil change before the MOT in January. He will also need filters before then so I think the car fund will take a hit. I am not transferring it yet as I only get 3 withdrawals before the interest rate plummets so I shall borrow from elsewhere and then move the money when we see what the MOT exes are. Hopefully not too much.

Mr lh has eaten a proper meal tonight for the first time in days. Only small but getting there and he had a packet of crisps mid afternoon. Nothing else today except starting the shopping list for next week as I have very little energy. I dont know if Mr lh will be able to take me but if not it will be a taxi as there will be a week and a halfs shopping to allow for Christmas plus there will be bottles etc. As Mr lh has not been smoking while he has been ill I wont need many as I have a stock but will count them up to ensure I have enough until after Christmas.

I am not going to get to my bil until after new year as I am not confident mr lh will be strong enough to walk Bear. If he walked properly it would be ok but as he pulls a lot when he first goes out and is very strong it wouldnt be safe for either of them.  I feel guilty about it but there isnt much I can do. If it wasnt over 3 hours travelling each way it would be easier.  I will ring him tomorrow and let him know.

I am not sure what is on the agenda for tomorrow, it will depend on whether Bear has me up in the night. Have a peaceful evening and a restful Sundy.

You've had so much on I think it makes sense to postpone the visit to BIL, you won't have to contend with the Christmas rush as well.

Glad Mr LH is on the mend and hopefully Bear is as well.

Is your Scottish friend the one with the son who was injured?  How is he doing now?  Enjoy your time with her.
