I have started to declutter my bedroom. Not got far but 2 drawers are done and i found a couple of bars of soap I didnt know I had so useful. I roasted a piece of pork for dinner this evening but when I went to get it out of the oven I found I hadnt put it in. Cut it in half and did it in the microwave leaving the other half in the oven to cook for tomorrow. I I think that was a major senior moment. In the garden I have re potted the strawberry plants that I grew from runners so they should be happy for the winter. It has been lovely and warm today so no coat needed for dog walking. It does seem to be getting a little chilly now so I will be shutting the back door very soon. When I was talking to a friend today she was telling me that she has a disabled card for the city theatre which gives her cheaper tickets so I have filled in the form having looked at the eligibility and think I qualify so I may be able to go a bit more often which would be good although mr LH and Bear wont be happy as neither of them like me going out and leaving them.A christmas present ordered on line today. I dont buy many as family prefer money so thee is just a couple of friends and my BiL. It doesnt maks it cheaper as the family get a reasonable amount especially as the GDs both have partners now but the money is there ready to be given which is a first. I am enjoying not having to rob Peter to pay paul to pay for these things.3

Well done on the decluttering and getting started for Christmas.
Hope you get the theatre card, it will be good to be able to go more frequently."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Out to PO this morning to post a couple of parcels. Unfortunately I have spent what we made which wasnt much on a ball for Bear. Several weeks ago we found one that he loves and I have bought him a new one so that we will never be without. He has even started to bring it back occasionally. He enjoyed his field trip today and did well with recall. Of course no doubt by next week he will be in stubborn mode and refuse to come. We have never had such a stubborn dog as he is - he will only do what he wants to do when he wants to do it. He was obviously not socialised as a young dog and we think he has been very badly treated treated followed by going on for 3 years in kenels most of which were in Bosnia. Then he has had 2 homes in this country including ours. Thats a lot in under 6 years with no training for 4 of them. He is making progress progress well but it is three steps forward and two sometimes three backwards. We will get there but it is hard work for him and us.Mr LH has realised he has not had the paperwork for the new car insurance so he will need to chase that tomorrow. We also have an engineer coming to upgrade our internet to full fibre. We arent sure they will be able to do it as we have the phone line connection into the house upstairs and the computer and modem live at the opposite end of the house and downstairs. It could be a very long cable run. This visit could stop the shopping tomorrow we will have to wait and see. Another drawer decluttered but that is as far as I have got. The washing done yesterday put away (except the things that need ironing) and a load of towels washed and hung up. It has been raining this afteroon so are drying indoors.4

Hope all goes well with the internet upgrade."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

I am an idiot! Having got mr LH up at the crack of dawn yesterday (7am) we found the internet men appointment is next Tuesday. Mr LH was not impressed with me. Of course the email was in our joint account so he could have looked himself. He stomped off back to bed so no shopping done until today.I did book and pay for his 2 festivals ysterday so that cheered him up. He is still debating on a third.I have finished decluttering my main drawers but still have three small one to do. Hovering downstairs done, a load of washing done and hung indoors and a stew made for dinner. Mr LH has cut back a shrub that has be hanging over the fence from next door but still hasnt done the one at the front because it looked like rain so didnt want to take the hedge trimmer out and get part way through and the heavens open. I live in hope.1

Ot to sm to buy the tuff I couldnt get/ forgot yesterday. I do make a list but forget stuff even when its on the list mainly because I know Mr LH is waiting with Bear so rush round a fast spossible. Wlked there because the bus was very late yet again but it was on time coming home.Bears new balls and the Christmas gift we had ordered arrived safely and correct. I cashed out another £5 on surveys and paid our council tax. I omitted to pay at the PO on Monday so did it on line.I appear to have have been accepted on the theatre disabled list but their website wont let me set up the account. It wont recognise either the password they sent or one of my own. I have emailed so hope to hear back soon. If I dont a friend has given me the disabled line phone number so I will ring them.A friend visited today just when we were about to take Bear out so that got delayed which in turn delayed Mr LH doing some work on the car which involved him painting . As he delayed it started to get damp before he could finish so will have to do it tomorrow. Fortunately the forecast is dry.2
