So much for the insurance company ringing us today. We will have to ring them tomorrow or at least ask for a ring back from them on their website which they offer. I spent a while yesterday going through the quote and found theyy offer breakdown cover at about £30 cheaper than our existing company and include home start which we dont have at present so that is a no brainer.Jobs done today. Utility reading sent at lunch time and we have already got the statement.I will check it tomorrow. Two kitchen cupboards and a drawer cleaned, lounge net curtain washed and rehung and hoovered upstairs and down. I didnt go out with Bear at lunchtime as it was raining so mr LH did it on his own (hence the hoovering).Bank account checked and things are looking good so I have transferred £70 to savings towards the hall and stairs. The S.O. to the emergency fund has gone out and that now stands at £1750. I have had another small sale so will post that in the morning. Thanks to this site and the forum we have never had savings,, been able to pay the car insurance without using credit, having money set aside for Chritmas and many other finacial things so many thanks to Martin and all the contributers to the diaries and the site.6

So many nice people on here too even if you don't always agree with them.

I went to our local high street today which is the first time in a couple of years due to the bus not going that way until the recent change and it was too far to walk there and back. I managed to get 6 books for £3.00 which is an absolute bargain here. I also picked up treats and toys for Bear. 1 of the toys he destroyed in about 15 minutes but that is par for the course for him. I also paid in a load of coins that I have been collecting for a while.Mr LH took Bear for his walk today as I wasnt feeling too good and am in a lot of pain for some reason.Car insurance is all sorted and between that and the roadside assitance we have saved about £120 plus the interest we would normally have paid for paying in instalments. It felt very good paying it in one go.Right off to watch Paul O'Gradys For The Love Of Dogs. It still seems so sad he has gone.4

That’s a good saving on the car insurance. We’ve just watched For the Love of Dogs, still hard to believe he’s no longer with us, he was so good with the dogs ☹️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Interesting that you say you have had more pain today as I too despite having felt better & better for well over a week (post op) felt really stiff & quite achy today. I put it down to high humidity, but it felt a big set back. Hopefully tomorrow will be better as I would rather not start taking meds again.
